football-rumours.com is reporting that real madrid is interested in michael owen from liverpool!?!?! here's what they say: "With Liverpool now looking certain to sign French international striker Djibril Cisse in the summer, they will be open to offers for Michael Owen. Real Madrid have been in close contact with Liverpool in recent years in an attempt to secure his capture and now will surely head the running for his signature." thoughts?
Also from football-rumours.com: May 21 2003: Brazilian legend Cafu is to use the SARS virus as a reason (excuse?) to try to back out of his contract with Yokohama Marinos. This is so he can play for Valencia next season. May 7 2003: All eyes should be on Old Trafford over the summer as there is to be a shock announcement about Ruud van Nistelrooy. Apr 14 2003: Liverpool have made it known that captain Sami Hyypia will be available if their price is met - with William Gallas his intended replacement. The Frenchman is younger and more versatile than Hyypia, plus he would cost less than Liverpool are asking for Hyypia. The sale of Hyypia will be the tip of the iceberg if Liverpool fail to qualify for the Champion's League, but either way Vladimir Smicer, Abel Xavier, Patrik Berger, Bernard Diomede and Dietmar Hamman are almost certain to leave in the summer. Berger, being out of contract and Diomede will both be available on frees.
My cousin, (my mother's youngest sisters second son, out of four) sometimes helps out when the groundsmen get too much work before a match. Well he has it on good authority that Jezy Dudek is dating Sami Hyypia sister. Trouble is he needs a box to stand on when he tries to kiss her goodnight. Good night...!
No, but the chances of him asking for a transfer if we don't get CL football and a solid run for the title are very likely.
Never say never. If he really has his heart set on leaving for a CL contender (if we don't qualify) and the right offer comes in, I could live with it. But it would really kill me if he left for another Premiership club.
