Good luck St. Michael. :) I'm sure the fans up in Newcastle will appreciate you well, unlike those so called Madrid fans..

Yes...I am expecting good things now that we got Luque and Owen up front

...I suspect that it'd be good for us to go to a 433 now.

We have 3 good strikers up front and that would really could create something..

Meh, if we got 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 it's good as long as Souness isn't a knob and goes 4-5-1

Owen wouldn't be wearing black-and-white if Souness were going 4-5-1. He's not cut for that formation, which was a reason Benitez was reticent to take him back, despite all the posturing to the contrary.

I think we'll be seeing the 4-3-3, or 4-3-2-1, with Luque and Nobby (provided it gets done)/Dyer on the wings feeding Shearer/Owen. Of course, 4-4-2 will be popular with Owen and Shearer, and I'd personally be interested to see what a 4-1-3-2 could do, with Parker as a holder, Luque and Nobby/Dyer on the sides and Emre in the middle, Owen and Al up front. I'd think it would actually provide some *ga-hasp* offensive firepower.

Of course, I'm playing on paper right now, heh.

We have to hope Emre gets fit quickly... because Bowyer starting in his place makes the formation a bit different (and probably more of a 4-4-2).

..the Barcodes have done well, he should be the missing piece I reckon you'll be up in CL places before you know it. And it will be good for England having him back home scoring in the prem.

BTW Jaypro at the end of the day you were right he went to the Geordies, and I was well impressed by the 20k who showed up too welcome him.

Anyways good luck with the rest of the season, and Toon_Toon I hope to be in London on News Eve watching the Yids against you lot. So hope too see the JJ score the winning goal at the Lane for Martin Jol's Blue and White Army... ;)
