Uli Hoeneß at an event yesterday:

"We agreed as a club in a meeting that Lewandowski will play out his existing contract with us. There isn't a monetary value that would make us change our mind."

"If he doesn't join training, he'll probably be sick, as we know him as a total professional. As soon as this little game is over, we expect Robert to be the same dedicated professional that he has always been and completely focus on Bayern. "

Last time he spoke he also said that they don't even listen to Barcelona's offers, and they'd be better off just looking for other options than wasting their time

[emoji599]| FC Barcelona will first try to complete the signings of Lewandowski & Raphinha, then Alonso & Azpilicueta, and lastly Koundé & Bernardo Silva.

Bayern Munich have told FC Barcelona they don't want any installments in any deal for Robert Lewandowski and that they want all the money upfront in cash because Bayern believes that FC Barcelona won't exist in "one or two years' time". #fcblive #fcbayern [@honigstein]

So according to sport.es Laporta and Alemany were present at Kessie’s presentation and talked about Gavi’s situation. Seems there’s already an agreement in place but they’re waiting on him to turn 18 (August 5th) in order to sign him to a lengthier deal seeing as u-18 players can only sign a contract of max 3 years.

We’re also waiting on the second “palanca” in order to be able to actually buy players during this window. Which is why Barcelona have asked players who are linked to us to be a little bit more patient.

Registering Christensen and Kessie will be possible once the wage mass is adjusted (yet again).

Can’t wait for us to be out of this mess. Can’t even stomach looking at that POS Bartomeu for what he did to this club.

More like they overpaid for De Ligt and are now scrambling.
Bayern have usually been great on the transfer market, but the last 12 months havebeen a bit of a shitshow|

After many months of negotiations, offers, counteroffers, threats and disagreements, Barça and Dembélé have finally reached a basic agreement over a new deal until 2024 with a 40% salary reduction. Dembélé is now pending the club's final approval. [md]

Mateu Alemany will now have the FINAL say on whether to complete Dembélé's contract renewal or not. [@RMCSport]

Rumours that we are putting Trincao up for sale at just 10 million !

I was hoping he’d be part of the squad :(

    ####

On 31 January 2020, Barcelona announced the transfer of Trincão, initially effective on 1 July. He signed a five-year contract for a €31 million fee, with a buyout clause of €500 million

Presumably that’s the end of our interest in Raphinha ..

    Lewandowski should be finalised now

New questions for our Predictions thread, assuming he's able to remain healthy until then:

    "When will Dembele get injured?"
"Will he get injured during a match, during training or non-football related?"
"Which will go first: left or right hamstring?"
"How many Liga fixtures will he miss this season?"

    The possibilities are endless.

Ugh, why are we trying to keep him???? We're never going to get out of him what we paid for him. Let's just cut our losses already.

Seriously. As I’ve said several times before, our insistence on keeping this guy is embarrassing. He isn’t as good as he or we (the board) think(s) and on top of that he’s injury prone and unprofessional. Smh.

[emoji599][emoji599]| FC Barcelona will officially open talks with Manchester City for Bernardo Silva, once Frenkie De Jong is sold. Mendes & Laporta have agreed to offer less than €100M, paid in 2-3 years

Dembele / Lewandowski / Raphinha/ Aubameyang would give us plenty of options.

Especially with Pedri / Gavi and Bernardo Silva in midfield

Reports saying we are getting Raphinha for 75m. That's too much money.

    Mmmm

Can confirm Leeds and Barcelona have finally reached an agreement this evening for Raphinha. My understanding is the €50 million + 10 fee is incorrect (Leeds rejected that offer quite some time ago) and the deal is actually worth close to €75 million.

Way too much. I felt that even the reported 60m is steep, imagine this. Smh.

Then you whine that you need to sell FdJ, Depay, etc. while you spend millions on new players. I really don't get your strategy sometimes.

Who the hell is “you”? Seems like you have a problem with the board and their strategy, take it up with them. You’ve been doing a lot of whining yourself in here the last couple of weeks.

Its all (far-fetched) rumors at this stage. There's no "strategy" that needs to be figured-out for the same reason that there is nothing to understand about how Barca were able to afford €200mn for Neymar back in 2019.
