I'll give it a thumbs up. It brings back a lot of good memories from the summer. It also has a lot of interesting stuff behind the scenes. I say get it just to support US Soccer.
I only bought the DVD about a month ago because I didn't want to spend the money either, but I'm glad I did. It's great. Get it.
Why are you even asking for a rating? Of course it's good. It's about US Soccer, it supports US Soccer, & every US Soccer fan should own it!! End of discussion. Buy the video. Your kids will thank you. If you don't have kids now, you will someday.
Get it now! You'll have a blast reliving those glorious days when US Soccer shocked the world. As a bonus, you see the Bruce get real emotional (preparing for Mexico) and patriotic (his "greatest country in the world" remarks). And I now have a new respect for Frankie HeyDuck after watching the DVD. I just wish there was more Mexico vs USA clips (watching Cobi get mauled all over the field). Get it before they stop making the DVD.
I can't tell you how awesome the DVD is. If you have good memories of WC2002 (and how couldn't you?), it will provide a lifetime of entertainment and good memories. Think of how many times you will watch it and the cost per viewing will shrink everytime you see it...which somehow makes it cheap in the long run.
That was pretty bad. Not that I think they should sing well but give me more highlights. Go to the qualifiers if you have too.
I finally watched it when I went home this past week. Be forewarned, your blood pressure will rise watching the highlights from the US - Germany match! I loved the DVD, but immediately afterwards, couldn't help but mulling over how close we were to winning. Awesome DVD. Watch how Arena's language changes before the Mexico and Germany games. I'm even in it at the beginning, jumping on top of John O'Brien at Foxboro
Great memories of the cup. Do not miss getting this treasure! It gave me chills both times I watched it, and I can't wait to watch it again. (Of course first I have to recover from the stress of the Germany game, again.) It's definitely worth the $$, and besides, shouldn't we be doing all we can to support soccer in the US!? It also makes a great gift, which my brother can attest to.
