I was disappointed not to see Freddy yesterday. Anyway, that reads to me more like he was being punished for being naughty. but we don' really know.

Exactly. We can't have a summer with out a Freddy thread in YA. It would simply not be exceptable, kind sir!

I don't know about you all, but I'd really rather not do this unless there's a specific rumor. We don't do random speculation threads in YA, not even during the relatively slower summer months. And, I'm tempted to say, there's never really a good excuse to have a Freddy Adu speculation thread.

I knew you may be unhappy, but common, there could be something behind it..... Maybe?

I highly doubt he's going anywhere (maybe within MLS).

Maybe if he has an ALL STAR season, then some clubs on the second tier Euro leagues might take a chance on him.

He's no longer that 17/18 yr talented youth. He's 22, been playing soccer for almost a decade, traveled to half a dozen clubs around Europe. Hopefully, he'll resurrect his career in the next 2-3 years. I still like to see him play at a decent club in Spain or Italy.

Trying to read tea leaves in this manner is exactly what "speculation" is. I'm sorry, but I'm going to veto this one, for everybody's sake.
