    Oh I think they have scaled back quite a bit these last 2-3 years, since the FA charges were brought. That’s just an impression, but you started hearing Pep complaining about injuries and not having enough players.

    Real Madrid are having a CB injury crisis not unlike ours of the Rhys Williams/Nat Phillips time. Perhaps even a little worse as their injured CBs also include all from the U21s and reserves. One way out of it before the January window is to sign a free agent now.

    There is one rumor, one name, one free agent gathering speed. Supposedly even gone so far as to say that negotiations are nearly concluded. Sergio Ramos. Just in time for our CL game on November 27th at Anfield.
