That rule about captains only being allowed to talk to the ref really lasted.

no way this offside called stands

I really would have liked to see a replay of the tackle that wasn’t called when Wolves had a counter that led to that series of corners.

Man, good on Gary O’Neil because i probably would be in no mood to shake Pep or anyone else’s hand after that 5 minutes

Semedo should have scored a second, though. Useless.

Egregious. It should have been a free kick to Wolves and a yellow card.

I know I frequently have a go at how wasteful our attackers are but they’re properly efficient compared to the Arsenal ones tonight.

Chelsea continue to treat their young players with kid gloves ....

Chelsea have told 18-year-old England Under-20 defender Josh Acheampong that he will not play for the club at any level again until he signs a new contract.

Looking like Arsenal will be without Ødegård, Saka and Califiori for our game hopefully we can take advantage of that

Saka is going to be done playing at a high level far earlier in his career than he should be. Between Arteta and England, they seem determine to grind him into dust.

I liked Rob Edwards, the Luton manager last season. He was earnest and honest. Pulled off a few decent results and gave us a hard time at Kenilworth Rd. But I think he could be for the chop.
His results in the Championship so far have been very uninspiring, seeing them hovering around the relegation zone, which is a surprise for a team that was playing PL football in May. Today, 2-0 up at Coventry, in control and then a last quarter implosion. Red card and 3 goals conceded. I think he’s for the off.

The El Classico was pretty awesome. Madrid dominates the first half, missing plenty of chances - should have been out of sight. Barca blitzes them with 4 in the second.

Bodes well for us in the CL. I’m sure Arne will have been paying close attention.

Also a wild game - Ipswich up 2-0. Brentford goes up 3-2. Ipswich goes down a man. Ipswich scores a surprise goal. 3-3. Muembo crosses a ball ... and scores (horrific keeping). Brentford up 4-3. Ipswich steals the ball and hits a swivel shot ... off the post. Game ends 4-3 to Brentford.
