    fun fact,
I'm sure Pengland fans won't believe me but don't give 2 shits if they do or don't.

but I don't even hate Pengland.

I'm a confessed Argentina, Spain, France HATER 100%.

    Pengland gets mocked for
    -58 year trophy drought
-favs for every single tourney and 0 to show for it
-Portugal, Croatia have more medals and trophies in my lifetime than Pengland, LOL
-I grew up during your previous Golden Gen of the 2000s era......that got killed off by Portugal.
-your known being super shit at PKs

no it was not much of anything, otherwise the German board mod wouldn't have interfered and gotten him unredcarded.

oh wow, I chimed in on Musiala months ago......that's it. How is that a lie......he's OUR PLAYER, LMAO. I didn't chim on Pengland or any of your teams in a LONG time.

Very disappointing break for us overall with two borefests against Malta and North Macedonia. Looking forward to the tournament though. Will be nice to have one back in a proper football country.

Now would be a great time for a Germany-Brazil friendly. Let's see who wants it less.

I did like that Portugal 2000s team, too bad you guys didn't win Euro 2004 at Home. Your Golden Gen at that time deserved to have won something.

If we ignore that the players didn’t get along because of their club rivalries, there are plenty of issues with that starting XI.
    - Scholes on the left wing sounds like a terrible idea
    - No DM
    - Two 8s in midfield( Lampard and Gerrard) who lack the defensive nous/positioning and playmaking ability from deep
    - James not being a top goalkeeper
    - The 4-4-2 system is in general a bad idea
    - Rooney and Owen together - I don’t remember how they played together but given their playing styles, I wouldn’t be playing them together

A midfield trio of Carrick, Scholes and one of Lampard/Gerrard sounds so much better but the coach had to start the biggest names.

Wellington had chased the French out of Iberia, but Napoleon was defeated in Russia.

Also read the Wikipedia article on Waterloo. Wellington would not have engaged Napoleon if he wasn't certain of Prussian support. To quote the Wikipedia article: "and almost lost the battle, but was eventually aided by the progressively arriving 50,000 Prussians who attacked the French flank and inflicted heavy casualties".

For fun google "Why did the Fench think they won Waterloo"

Just goes to show you what the brits and germans can accomplish when facing their common enemy, the French.:D;)

Apologies for the late reply but I was distracted by real life.

interesting to see Brazil's new CFs in Europe
-03 Leonardo, 3 goals in 3 games for Benfica in Portuguese 1st, scoring in 3/3
-05 Roque, 2 goals in past 2 games for Barca, so 2 in 5

although ALL games 0 XIs, all sub showings.

curious to see how they dev and how Endrick does in future.

New York New Jersey is a place? Its called the Meadowlands! I lived in NJ for years. The only reason the promoters want to call it "New York New Jersey" its because they don't want to be too associated with that swamp hell-hole called North Jersey (and again, I lived in NJ and still have family there - there's a reason why I "used to live there").

is he the forward Brazil have been praying for????

will be curious to see how he does in Real Madrid as well as how well the other Brazil CFs do.

It's about time they develop some talent again, isn't it. Other than Rodrygo it looked very blant over there.

they also have Vinicius although he's done better at club than NT
supposedly something like Brazil 04-onwards there is Golden Generation potential, time will tell.

speaking of Spain, some in Spanish press are bitching hard about not really having any CFs outside of Morata who they have question mark over, LOL.

Spain is one those countries like most of the top Euro teams who lack that Elite-World Class CF.

soon France will be done with Giroud (likely Euro 2024) and Pengland with Kane and they too will have CFs issues like the rest.
