I really like the idea of a father-son duo lifting the World Cup together. Of course I'm talking about the Danny and his son Daley.

 

I was quite Blind to the possibility.

 

It could have been different for the US. Pulisic squandered a huge chance to give them the lead in the 2nd minute. Then just before the 3rd Dutch goal, they had an easy-looking through ball to Haji Wright which was slightly overhit. Should have been the equaliser. Those are the kind of opportunities you can't miss at the highest level.

The first and third Dutch goals were easily avoidable as well. Was Tyler Adams too tired to track Depay's run in only the 10th minute of the match? That was an inexplicable gift.

Shouldn't be new for Argentina. They are used to being bettered by a team in yellow.

 

But that's Canada's first WC fnal goal EVER!!. Progrress. For 2026 we're looking to get a tie in one of the matches. You gotta start small and work your way up. (Also a pretty exciting team to watch).

 

The Netherlands need full concentration to beat Argentina.

 

Canada had a nice chance to level the scores at the end. It was not to be. Argentina win and advance to the QF.
