Truly wasted talent remaining in Asia.

But Oman shows up in both club and international matches. Nam Tae Hee just gets lost out there sometimes wearing the KNT shirt.

Based on Asian Cup 2015, Omar's individual creativity was very impressive. One of those players that stand out without the commentators telling us so. He also seemed elegant and graceful with a football.

So whats the reason behind the fact he is still playing in Asia? Money?

Read between the lines. The people in power will block the moves with no concern for the player or national team's future. Getting a fat non-taxable income is just added incentive for players not to rock the boat.

"...wealthy club owners have often been reluctant to let their stars leave. For example, in 2006 Faisal Khalil signed for Châteauroux in France. The striker was delighted but his former club, Al Ahli, was not. The UAE’s football association did not issue his international transfer clearance. The owner of Al Ahli was, handily, also the Crown Prince of Dubai and had a few words and before long Khalil (reportedly later arrested for hiring a witch doctor to curse a rival for a starting spot) was home."

Maybe he re-signed due to 'an offer he couldn't refuse.'

If you dig around here there's plenty of conjecture but from what I recall not paid a ton originally.

He does show for his national team, but that's only during the 1st half of every match from what I saw in the Asian Cup.

If you watched Omar Abdulrahman back in the Asian Cup, he had a poor habit of disappearing in the 2nd half of every match. His passing was off, he made poor decisions, and he got lazier when it came to defending.

What an OG by Eric Dier. Right in between the legs of Forster.
