I wouldn't say crazy, more like desperate. Well if you live near Old Trafford and play in midfield or defence, go try-out, maybe you have a chance.
For that amount, Di Maria becomes the most expensive signings in Premiership history and 5th most expensive ever. His name is now along side Bale and Ronaldo. That should satisfy his ego.... anybody's ego. I would head to Man Utd if I was in his shoes. I am happy for him!
We've to keep in mind that they are out of the CL. In order to lure quality players, they've to spend extravagantly. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...el-di-maria-set-for-manchester-united-medical Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria will fly in this lunchtime to undergo a medical ahead of his British record £63.9m move to Manchester United. Sky is reporting the price is not as high as MARCA is reporting. 80m euros, 15m addon included. So we get 65m

Simeone 8-match ban 2 for protesting 1 for staying in the stands 1 for applauding 4 for hitting the 4th official He will miss first La Liga Madrid derby in September
Atleti will surely appeal. I fully expect that to lead to a 4 match suspension of the fourth official for putting his head in the path of Simeone's hand.
He probabaly will, but don't see they give Modric more drastic ban since his first yellow wasn't even a foul.
Mario Balotelli signs with Liverpool YNWA! COME ON LIVERPOOL! 👊✌☝— Mario Balotelli (@FinallyMario) August 25, 2014 "I always start a competition wanting to win it. We will see. I want to win another Champions League for sure, because the Champions League wasn't all mine, I was in a team [Inter]. I want to take this team to the Champions League." "When I first played three or four games with Inter Milan, when I was young, I had No.45 because the numbers for young players were from No.36 to No.50. I took No.45 because I was joking that four plus five is nine - and I scored in all four games. It brings me luck and that's why I've always kept No.45."
Balotelli has some great potential but at 24 if he doesn't make it at Liverpool, he won't make it anywhere.
Even then unless a player is not in his last year of contract the other clubs know how desperate ManU are and will wring every last penny from them . From a footballing perspective it would be sad if he does not realise his potential , if he does not fulfill his talent because of his stupidity and immature antics it would be a real shame .
