That's just their standard payment mechanism, isn't it?

    That’s not terrorism.

    not in any universe.

    it’s a light-hearted prank.

And let's be honest. If you think you can trust the internet to give you the result you expect, you're not really thinking. :ROFLMAO:

I'm a fan of it because of how poorly they treated Harvey. They should have that rubbed in their face as much as possible.

If say, Ozan Kabak (remember him, last loan player to play for Liverpool?) had been voted Liverpool’s player of the year by Schalke fans in 2021(?), I’d have paid as much attention to it as I would to Harvey Elliott being voted Villa’s player of the year. A smile and move on.

It’s not going to change the world, it’s a fix, everybody knows it’s a fix and if Villa (or Liverpool) fans were sufficiently bothered by their club’s (unsuccessful) web outreach to fans, they’d have voted for someone else. It’s not like winning an internet poll is going to make it onto your resumé or be part of contract negotiations.

As a matter of interest, who’s Liverpool’s internet player of the year and who here voted?

    BTW, “internet terrorism”? Really?

Why did you make me read that? I’m now doubting Football’s Fit and Proper Person’s test. I really am.

They have effectively overspent for everyone (except senesei who was “free”) - but they had to get them to come - including blowing up their wage structure and now paying pretty close to top dollar in that area too. Let’s see how it goes.

Arsenal making two moves, one almost confirmed, the signing of Tzolis from Brugge for £34.5m - he scored 29 goals and had 22 assists last year in 52 appearances.
And they are about to secure Bruno from Newcastle with reports being £75m is the fee.
Both very good moves for them.

Disagree - 75m for a 29 yr old Guimares who keeps getting injured doesn't seem that great. He's got a ton of miles in his legs too - and the Brazilian outfield players seems to run out of steam at 30. I know he's a name and good player - but that price is silly (thanks to Tonali)

It’s an astute buy by Arsenal. It will give Rice protection - wanted him here at Pool
