So, I heard this team called Real Madrid won again and now they're in second place and only 2 off the lead. I think that team will win the title

    :D

Diego scored a good goal for Bremen today, as they remained in the hunt for the Bundesliga..Ray Hudson kept calling him "Diogo" and I laughed every time..

I love him too, and whenever someone comes over and watches with me, or overhears him talking and saying some crazy line about "Majestic" football, or that a player is "heaven sent", they chuckle and ask, "whats up with that guy?" For entertainment, he's cool with me.

He kept calling Robinho Cicinho today.

However, he does provide some entertainment with his figurative language. Like calling Zidane 'twinkle toes'. :p

Last match (bilbao) he kept gushing over Cicinho. I thought he was about to have an orgasm when Cicinho got the second assist :p

Oh, he called one of the Bilbao supporters "Fat kid" and was amused by all the profanities :p

Essien is a monster on the pitch .. A serious upgrade of Diarra .. But i'm not complaining, just an opinion ..

But Diarra did take care of things yesterday. Won a lot of balls cleanly.

Essien has developed quite well. Back when him and Diarra were both in Lyon, Diarra was the better player. It is most definitely the other way around now.

Yea but lets not forget Essiens first season :) I still have hope Diarra can make the same jump in form.

I agree - but I would say 90% of his 'development' has been in his muscles. He was already a bull before but now he is like one of those American wrestlers who die of a massive heart attack before 40. His ball skills are slim to nil yet he is still a force on the pitch. He does as well at centre midfield as centreback or right back because he relies almost solely on his physical attributes.

A fine player for Chelsea but he should be the very antithesis of the type of player we want for Real Madrid.

Anyone here read Valdano's comments on rafa and jose? :p I get the feeling if Mourinho is made manager of Real Madrud Valdano will not be happy

    http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/08052007/4/valdano-slams-mourinho-benitez.html

EDIT: I went to a Liverpool then Chelsea forum and wanted to see what they thought

LIVERPOOL: Low blow at how Real Madrid havn't won anything in years, insulted Valdano and disrespected the club and him.

CHELSEA: Some of them were cvnts but most of them agreed with Valdano and looked at the article from a neutral point of view and they also praised Valdano's accomplishments

I WANT KAKA TO SCORE A HAT TRICK AGAINST THOSE SCOUSE TW*TS

Not related -- but fkcuing sad !!

In 1982, Jean-Pierre Adams was 34 and playing for a third division side, Chalon, when he went to hospital in Lyon for an operation on a knee ligament. A problem with the anaesthetic resulted in a coma that has lasted ever since.

And Adams's wife, Bernadette, has been looking after her husband every day for a quarter of a century at the couple's home outside Nimes.

Sad for him and a real credit to her for still standing by him. She must just have been in her late 20's or early 30's when he went in coma.
