Ouch. Speaking of Jacko, looks like he has 26 minutes this year for a bad NE team. His career has really been in a tailspin since say 2020, when Almeyda said that he's destined to play in Europe. And he's only 28, should be the prime of his career.
I played high school soccer without my glasses (or contacts). Knew identities of all my teammates even at far end of field by how they ran.
That's how I wind up having to identify players sometimes on these lousy quality broadcasts, if I know the players well enough. I watched some of Nashville - Miami and on the wide shots I could barely tell which one was Espinoza. Had to go by positioning and running style plus he had red shoes, which I could *sometimes* pick up.
I'm wondering if the blurry broadcast I'm seeing is a youtubetv thing. Even the lineup graphics are blurry. I don't know how it could be that bad. Edit: I googled it and found a fix that makes it *much* better. Manually set the youtubetv resolution to the highest (which is 720p60) rather than "auto".
It depends on the channel. For example, the highest is 720 for ABC and FOX, but 1080 for NBC and CBS. Though if you paid a little extra for 4k, then the maximum for certain events can be 2160. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Well even though 720 (on FS1) is far from state of the art, it was 10x better than what I was getting before with "auto". I don't know the hell that was but it was horrible.
Have you paid a little extra for 4k (though I don’t think there’s a 4k version of this game) so you can watch certain events at 2160p? GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
I find that often true with YouTube in general. The "auto" resolution won't be the resolution it says it is, and it gets better when I pick a resolution myself.
Ladies and gentlemen, we bring you your "Walmart Saturday Showdown" - tomorrow. Yes, this is real (from mlssoccer).
Nashville SC's Hany Mukhtar scores 25,000th goal in MLS history Major League Soccer celebrated a major milestone on Saturday when Nashville SC star Hany Mukhtar scored the 25,000th regular-season goal in league history.
Channel surfing and came across Dallas hosting San Diego......on the far side of the field they have the stands covered with advertising. They must have dismal attendance numbers if only one side of the stadium and the ends are open for fans. Didn't know Godoy is now with San Diego playing with Pellegrino .
Dallas is doing a major renovation of the stadium that is taking 2-3 years while keeping it operational, closing off sides of the stadium in sequence.
Apple....thought I was going to watch Formula 1 but had start time wrong so ended up pursuing the MLS games.
Godoy has been with San Diego since they started. He's 36 and looks no worse for the wear somehow, though he doesn't always start anymore.
For some reason I thought he was still with Nashville. I have not been following MLS as closely as I use to.
Haha, one of our "addition by subtraction" guys, Espinoza, scored against Miami in CONCACAF to knock Messi and Miami out of the tournament. And this was apparently Miami's big goal this year - to win CONCACAF, like they can just pick and choose what to win next, i.e. call their shots.
I think we've discovered a new type of number, The Espinozan Number, E, where: X - E > X + E and X + E > X - E BTW, on the broadcast they had to mention that "If it were not for a 'clerical error' Espinoza would still be playing with San Jose!". Well, that, and also if he still wanted to play in San Jose, he'd still be playing with San Jose.
