Looks like LAFC are going to try to sign Antoine Griezmann and San Diego, a team that hasn't played one minute in MLS, are trying to sign Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne. And what the ******** are we doing to improve??
At least Max Arfsten sucks at trivia, that makes the Quakes losing him for nothing easier to stomach “I smell a competition brewing!” ☕️Welcome back to Crew Feud pres. by @TimHortonsUS pic.twitter.com/vgiwGYowQc— The Crew (@ColumbusCrew) October 9, 2024
Shocking number of Tim Hortons outlets in Columbus! https://locations.timhortons.com/en/locations-list/oh/columbus
It's Canada's answer to Starbucks (or Dunkin Donuts). They're everywhere in Canada and along the border. Plainly migrating southward into Ohio. Tim Horton was a Hall of Fame hockey player who originally started the chain. Stan Mikita's Donuts in Wayne's World is an homage. Stanley's Pub at Sharks Ice used to carry Tim Horton's coffee behind the bar. I introduced Q to it
Yeah, but 32 of them? That's insane. Columbus is not that big of a city. There must be one on every corner. That's not a chain, that's an obsession. There are ~19 Starbucks in SJ.
I don’t know. I just googled Starbucks in SJ. Does Tim Horton have “inside store” locations. I don’t think any of the 32 stores in Columbus are “inside store” but not sure.
Anyone else watch Poch's debut game - US v. Panama? Not bad, not great. He had more or less a B team, with a few A team players. The 2-0 scoreline flattered them a bit. Turner stood on his head in one sequence, then a Panamanian player comically missed a sitter 5 yards out from a 1v1 with Turner right in front of the goal. The 2nd US goal came at the last minute of the game. People are trying to look for differences in style vs. GGG and I think it's pretty subtle so far. Back 4 like GGG, a little different attacking set up - 4-2-3-1, but the attacking style is pretty much the same. Maybe a little bit better counterpressing but it's not like GGG's teams didn't try to do that as well. Played pretty conservatively with the lead and should have given it away the way things went. I did notice him getting on the players a bit more which is good. Can't be too much of a nice guy.
Forward Madison FC Triumphs 2-1 in Thrilling Finish Against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC Last regular season home game. PK in the 90th minute decided it. The 'Mingoes had 68% possession and the Red Wolves' goal came very much against the run of play.
South San Francisco A.C. downs Honduras U23 5-1 on Sunday at Colt Field on the campus of El Camino High School. The team improves to 2-0-0 early on in the season. South City was led by Libardo Torres Salazar with 2 goals and one each from Jack Snowdon, Greg Hui, and Neehar Mukne. Assists coming from Hui, Iulen Cabeza Gil & Brendan Cadam. Outstanding defensive efforts turned in by GK Adrian Monroy, and his backline including Felipe Gonzalez, Avery Fisher, and Louy Lerebourg. SSFAC Wins Home Opener | South San Francisco AC
I've never seen it - must not be in the Midwest. My normal brew is a two-pound bag of whole beans from a local roaster that Costco carries for $17.99:
