LAFC are loaning out a bunch of players to the USL to make room for all of the new guys coming in.

 

I meant property tax rate, should have clarified

No sales tax in Oregon, so need to raise money somehow.

 

Would be nice of them to think of us when they loan out players.

Why is that? I'm "all ears" ;-).

 

They would have likely lost anyway, but I thought the 1st PK against the US was soft if it was a penalty at all. It was a ball that floated into the box. Three players lifted a leg to get it - 2 Moroccans and Nathan Harriel. All were playing the ball. There was some contact and one Moroccan player went hurtling to the ground.

 

Garber did many good things but his favoritism of some teams over others is very evident.

I do give him credit to bringing the league back from the doldrums of 2001.

I was living in Europe and never knew back then that the league was on the verge of folding.

I only learned about it many years later.

Having AEG walk all over him in those years was very sad from a Quakes fan perspective.

I just wish he would use the same enthusiasm assistance and influence he uses with Beckham/AEG to help the Quakes.

 

BREAKING NEWS: 46-year-old American coach Pellegrino Matarazzo, currently coach of Hoffenheim who finished 7th in the Bundesliga last season, has reportedly been offered the USMNT head coaching position.

Prior to leading Hoffenheim to 7th place in the Bundesliga, he managed Stuttgart for almost three years.

That would be a great hire. The only MLS coaches considerable at the moment Jim Curtin and Wilfred Nancy

 

I hope his fizz is better than our Pellegrino namesake.

Thats interesting, they said Painstill is clocked in as the second fastest player in MLS. Galaxy also said they have 4 of the top 10 fastest players in MLS.
