Yeah maybe so but at Juve Chiello in his last 3 years, out of like 115-120 total league matches, he only played in like 40 games as he was always injured.

Same thing went for the national team.

He was still good when healthy but he stated in interviews that his knee was ruined.

The Quakes shouldn't be signing anyone over 28, and the vast majority of their signings should be in the 17-25 range. Sign players in the 30-35 range only if you're 1-2 players away from trophy contention (the wooden spoon does NOT count!!) and those short term moves can help you get over the top. That's not a position the Quakes have been in since 2012.

Not using any of our U22 slots is IMO even more of an issue than not using our last DP slot. Maybe CL is waiting for the U22 / DP rule change in the summer(?) so that he can sign a 3rd DP and 3 U22's? Hah!! :ROFLMAO:

I’m telling you guys, if Ian Anderson isn’t scouting Sergio Ramos, it’s not happening.

He's too busy playing "rock flute" to be scouting anyone.

I love Ramos, but don't want him here, he can go to Miami.

Yeah I don’t know - they were into some kind of weird medieval vibe or something. Jethro Tull is the band.

Unlike @markmcf8 I was never a big prog rock guy, but there was a time in the 70's when I enjoyed this a lot...

...never have seen Ian Anderson though. Looks like he's only touring Europe this year.

I'm surprised he's still alive and touring.

Listened to an interview with him a while back. Pretty interesting guy - he's definitely more intellectual than the average rock musician. He's sort of like an English major kind of guy. And an innovator - rock flute? Who else was doing that at the time?

Can't think of any other rock band offhand that has like "lead flute". He made it work too. Of course they have guitars and all that too.

"Smooth jazz". Not my favorite - but whatever works. I used to drive my daughter around in the car to get her to sleep sometimes.

My kind just watches the damn road. I drove around 3.5 hours one night. Won't do that again, gas is like 6 bucks

I think I read at one time he owned one of those commercial salmon farms off the coast of Scotland. And he was interviewed on the local classic rock station within the last year or two. Definitely a little more intellectual than your average rocker.

Just be careful any vibration doesn't slowly move the carrier to the edge....
