Patrick Schulte has for sure earned himself a January Camp invitation. The guy might actually have a shot at #3 or #2 for the National Team.
Must be nice to have players like Buik, Long, Bogusz, McCarty and Palencia on the bench for selection. Those 5 would be starters for us.
Darlington Nagbe has a chance to tie Todd Dunivant, Brian Mullan and Jeff Agoos with 5 rings. He's currently tied with Craig Waibel, Dwayne De Rosario, Eddie Robinson, Jamie Moreno and Josh Saunders with 4.
Houston needs to slow the temp down and get a little possession, other wise LAFC is gonna punish them 3 or 4 times today.
HOORAY!!! With Dynamo FC having lost today and with the Galaxy already not having made it into this year’s playoffs, I can watch next week’s MLS Cup final after all! GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Reminds me of when Jose Canseco said, about steroid use in baseball becoming a known thing, "The cat's out of the hat!"
Columbus, man that was clinical. By the end of the game Cincinnati had nothing. It was like a heavyweight bout and one guy is just done and trying to hang on to get to a decision. Acosta really hurt his team by not coming out but that was only part of the story. The real story was just Columbus beating them down over 120 minutes with relentless attacking. Very impressive. Rossi and Cucho and a bunch of other guys were still going hard all the way to the end. Hope they beat LAFC. I think they're better.
Interesting watching the two coaches / sidelines at the extra time midpoint break in the Cinci-Columbus game. Wilfried Nancy had a clipboard out talking strategy and was very animated about "keep doing what you're doing" as the team huddled around him. MLS Coach of the Year Pat Noonan didn't seem to have much to say. He seemed to be just kind of nervous and pacing and talking to a few guys separately, like asking Acosta if he can still go.
Yes but look at the situations. One wins one loses. Nancy woild be the same if they lost. With Miazga FCC win. Without, That happens.
