Extratime just spent a lot of time talking about Lletget’s transfer to FC Dallas. They say that FCD really needed a center midfielder and that Lletget did not like playing as a winger for Bruce because too much running. Also, because he will be with Paul Arriola, Jesus Ferreira, and Paxton Pomykal at FCD, it may reopen a chance for him with USMNT.

Is all of that spin? Who knows… My personal guess is that Lletget is 29, he was most compatible with living in LA, and maybe his soccer and instagram career have already peaked…

Bruce Arena traded for vets Lletget and Altidore. Both are gone ASAP. Ouch

Haha…red flag alert. If soccer players are complaining about “too much running” they are in the wrong sport.

Remember the great Lletget v. Shea Salinas debate? Shea keeps on ticking. :)

Garett Bale just made RSL defense look silly. Enjoying seeing them spanked after last weekend.

And the fanboys will vote that GOTW instead of Marie's 35 yard rocket.

Glad took a weird angle on that. I think he should have stayed on Bale's left shoulder to try to kind of pin him to a very narrow angle. Instead he kind of took the long way to run around him to try to get himself between Bale and the goal, giving Bale the space to open up the angle. By the time he took the "long way around" Bale had too much space to shoot.

It's great that Bale made them look silly, but OTOH imagine what he'll do to our defense.

Yeah, Marie doesn't have many fanboys, except maybe a few soccer-loving francophiles at Florida International University, if there are any. That's a tough Venn diagram to fill.

Imagine we are kicking ourselves for not signing Musovsky and LAFC sold him because he would be somewhere around 5th through 7th in the depth chart depending who you count ahead of him.

Bale, Bouanga, Arango, Opoku, Vela, Blessing.

It's really not clear what there best attacking line up is - they are all playing well. They didn't need to add another DP forward but they did anyway. My guess is their goal is to win CCL and they probably can't count on having Bale around for that. He could take off right after World Cup although he claims he's interested to stay a few years.

We still have a very good chance of winning the wooden spoon this year.

LAFC's Gorgio Chiellini should have been given a red card for this handball las night.

Yellow was correct. That's not a red card unless it's DOGSO (and there was a defender behind him).

    I’m guessing we’re heavy favorites.

CL off to a flying start!

I’m pretty sure this wasn’t his first goal with LAFC. I think he scored in the leagues cup showcase game.

Edit: he scored against SKC in regular season too.
