That was a very poorly taken PK. Chest high, just a few feet off center. Half the people on this board could have saved it.
I would have saved it, and then immediately punted it all the way downfield for a goal - a 2-goal turnaround!! With beer in one hand. Blindfolded!
Remember Jon Bell? We cut him, New England signed him. hes currently starting at centerback for them. Not good enough for the Earthquakes tho........
I heard it was the first time in Liverpool's 129 year history that their goalie scored a goal in a competitive match.
never too late to conver Allison to a 9, just saying that header had some friggin authority on it too
Watched Santa Clara women on ESPN 2 in the College Cup final! Santa Clara won 4-1 on pk's ! Men’s final with Indiana vs. Marshall on later.
Men’s College Cup Is actually on now! Marshall vs. Indiana • When: Monday, May 17 • Time: 8:00 p.m. ET • TV Channel: ESPN2 • Live Stream: fuboTV
Marshall wins in sudden death! I’m thinking MLS can can potentially have a college draft or sign the seniors this summer. Why wait another 9 months and waste time?
I like really like Sahlen's Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in North Carolina. They only have a fan capacity of 10,000 but have a natural grass field and it loos pretty nice looking on TV.... Men's College Cup: Marshall completes improbable run to championship
Yeah - that was utter bullshit. Stanford always acts like an old widow lady every time the stock market has a stumble, and it's really getting old. When I worked there, whenever there was a any sort of recession and the stock market took a hit, they overreacted like crazy - no raises, no hiring, cutting programs, etc. Stanford has an endowment of just under $30B, so it's not like a minor correction in the market is going to wipe them out, but they damn well act like it. I'm really glad to be retired from there...
Houston Dynamo getting a new owner: https://www.sportico.com/business/sales/2021/houston-dynamo-sale-1234630196/ Hopefully the new owner isn't more ambitious than the previous owner, because Houston is one of the more likely teams to be worse than us every year. If they suddenly realize their market potential we'll have a tougher time making the playoffs. Of course a rising tide lifts all boats. So, if he's a good owner this is a good thing overall.
