    i loved when he reprised that character as a little league parent. Reminds me of some soccer dads I’ve heard on sidelines;

    Oh geez, that clip gives me PTSD flashbacks of his soccer movie Kicking and Screaming.

    Just finished watching the SKC vs Austin game on DVR, and I’m kind of sad that Nick Lima doesn’t look very good. He got smoked by Busio too.

    Just listened to Abby Wambach talk about how we all have misogyny and inequality in our hearts, even hers. We have to tell ourselves not to accept the assumptions and stereotypical thinking of the past. I've noticed it does make a big difference in my own attitudes.

    It is interesting how many football owners have invested in soccer teams. Not just MLS, but foreign teams as well. Hedging their bets on future popularity? I would think baseball owners would be more likely to invest as I think their numbers are down.

    Between "The Knee" back in 2016 and all of the resultant trauma, along with all of the mounting evidence regarding CTE, and throw in a soupcon of unpopular rule changes; football has two black eyes and is missing a few teeth right now. That sport is in trouble. They've pissed off the left, the right, and everybody in between...

    To be fair, I think the right is pissed off about most sports leagues right now. Not happy with NFL, MLB, NBA, even NASCAR a little bit?

    NFL is a billionaire boys club = The other boys have a soccer team, I should get one too.

    9 women mostly married to NFL owners or inheriting ownership does not make the NFL a billionaire co-ed club.

    Kim Pegula is also the team president. How many women team presidents in MLS?

    I’m sure there are plenty of men’s clubs run by women office staff in this country. They are still men’s clubs.

    Yes, things are changing slowly. I just listened to Julie Uhrman yesterday! But NFL ownership is still pretty tainted.

    Why do you know stuff like that??!!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
    Frankly, it had been so long since I had heard “the Bills” I couldn’t remember what sport they were in. You’ve been gone from here too long.

    Santa Clara Women's soccer team defeated powerhouse North Carolina 3-1 in the NCAA semifinals. They will play Florida State for the national championship on Monday. They won the title in 2001.

    Stanford women won the last title, so it would be cool to bring the trophy back to Silicon Valley.
