Bingham is exactly what they deserve. Looked into the Gals threads, and it sounds to me like the fans believe they're in the midst of a Stahre-class disaster. I feel much better...

While I was hoping the Gals would choke, a tie is better for us in the standings. Plus Houston losing a lead makes me smile a bit.

Twellman, during halftime of the LAFC/Port game once again demonstrates his utter lack of understanding regarding the current Laws of the Game...

That goal was something else. The wall didn't even jump and hung Bingham out to dry. Couldn't happen to a nicer team.

That's two games in a row that Beauregard Bingham just stood there like a statue as the ball flew past him into the net. To avoid the rioting and wrath of Galaxy fans he is rumored to be seeking protection under Trump's executive order protecting Monuments and Statues.

Very good! Reminds me of Haaland. A tall guy who can move and finish. Zaniolo's clubmates seem to not like him :)

Watched both knockout games today - horrible all the way around. Sort of embarrassing, really... BA was shown. Red card at the end of the NE/PH game for being his usual charming self. He’s gained so much weight it looks like he’s in a Sigi Schmid tribute band...

Our usual people+dogs watched the first half of NE/PH and it was so snoozeworthy that we agreed we'd had enough at halftime. I actually thought BA looked better, at least sitting down, didn't look like his face had been run over by a bulldozer, but probably just the extra weight.

Both teams looked way worse than the Quakes or really, anyone we played in group.

Yup - either Vancouver or the Sporks will slow-roast Philly.

I thought all of this week’s MLS games were terribly boring. Even last night’s knockout round games were not worth watching. The players look more like they’d be happy to go home, especially Montreal. I thought CR Elfath did a lousy job in PHIvNE. The game would have been more interesting if we could have heard Bruce’s comments during the game as well as his red card-worthy rant. Maybe the MLS cameramen are ready to go home too? They’re skipping some great theatre.

I thought some of the group games were good, but yeah, both of the first two knockout games were pretty snoozy. Orlando was on the front foot pretty good to start their game but didn't get anything out of it (until the second half which wasn't as fun to watch and the goal was a bit of an "oofer" from Montreal).

I thought he was ok in the first half. Did something happen (apart from the RC, which I'm sorry I missed!)

In the last 20 or so minutes of the game, there was a bad foul from behind on the Revs best player. It should have been called for PI or could have been a yellow on its own, and Elfath didn’t card the player. I think it was also near the bench. That got Bruce talking, but I couldn’t quite make out the words. Tonight on the wrap-up show between the 2 games, they showed Bruce after the game, with his mouth blanked out (sort of like a beige face mask) as he goes up to and then as he walks away from Elfath. I presume he is swearing the whole time.

The Sporks are taking the piss with Vancouver, but they can’t buy a goal. Would be so funny if Wankover scores one... I’d much rather see them in the next round...

It was really nice to see Omar Gonzalez have such a bad game and be knocked out. Not as good as the Gals, but a nice cherry on top.
