Calciomercato is indicating Conte wants 3 signings at all costs: 1) Lukaku 2) Dzeko (please take him) 3) Barella (wise decision) I think eventually they'll need to address FB/WB, but I imagine they don't feel it's as pressing at this moment in time.
With the arrival of Maurizio #Sarri as #Juventus head coach, full-back Joao #Cancelo will be leaving the club.Sarri considers Cancelo to be surplus to his tactical requirements and this will open the door for a move to #MCFC.[@FabrizioRomano/@cmdotcom] pic.twitter.com/3wuUAa0n6L— Sam Wilson 🦅 (@snhw_) June 15, 2019 I really don't understand this, tbh. Good RB's are so damn hard to find.

#Inter say yes to #Kovacic, but on one condition https://t.co/vowK4l5GUR pic.twitter.com/ThGchI3GQ0— CalcioMercato (En) (@CmdotCom_En) June 14, 2019 What'd I tell ya? I knew Inter would be all-over Kovacic. Apparently, they wanna dump Radja off in China though. Have fun.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If you told me Allegri/Conte didn't want him because he's not defensively minded enough, I would've bought it. But with Sarri? I think he'd be a monster, personally.
lol, so Juve wants to get worse? I mean, I'm ok with that. Is it just me, or does it feel like there's a real opportunity for Serie A to close the gap on Juve next season? This Sarri appointment really feels off to me. Changing your logo is one thing, but completely changing the entity of your football is another. I think Conte might make them sweat next season. Seriously.
lol.... SES- Petagna- Kluivert ----------Goat-------------- They may as well just give us the Scudetto now.
Luciano Spalletti is “honoured to have had the opportunity to train #Inter ” and fully admits he has received no real offers for next season https://t.co/8wMgRAqDYm #FCIM #Fiorentina #SerieA pic.twitter.com/l2VQaBH9BD— Football Italia (@footballitalia) June 15, 2019 Shocker.
In all honesty, he didn't do a bad job. The expectations to challenge Juve's dominance in two years is just not realistic. They were certainly not the free flowing team that we usually see with Spalletti's football but I dont think that was anything a midfield makeover couldn't fix along with the poisoned apples upfront removed. Team building takes time, a more realistic approach would be being content with challenging over 5 years by continuously improving year on year. I think we would have witnessed that with Spalletti but thats modern football and typical of Inter Milan in particular. If Conte doesn't work out in 2 years they'll blow it up and start again.
Problem is Inter's a volatile/dysfunctional club, and that's pretty much Luciano to a tee. Drama follows him wherever he goes. After they brought in Beppe, I knew Luciano's days were numbered unless he showed significant progress. He didn't do that. He vouched for Radja, and it failed. Now they're trying to pawn him off to China. He also handled the Icardi thing oddly as hell, but I expected no less from Spalletti. Truthfully, it wasn't all his fault in that circumstance. Not at all. The football was super bland, and the results didn't match the talent level. Not even close. Just by virtue of having Handanovic instead of Olsen the gap between our clubs should've been more than 3 points. Bad? Maybe not bad. But it was far from anything impressive. They got a substantial upgrade with Conte, and they're doing everything they can to rid themselves of the drama/dysfunction that has plagued that club for years.
#ACMilan are dealt a blow in their pursuit of Lucas Torreira as it emerges he will not leave #Arsenal https://t.co/RlE2uC47Ph #AFC pic.twitter.com/Hck8MFXJvM— Football Italia (@footballitalia) June 16, 2019
Makes sense from Arsenal's perspective. Once Torreira said he wanted to return to Serie A, it was like a grenade to his market value. Seems Milan had the same idea as I did with trying to offer Kessie straight up. Ah well, it was a fun idea while it lasted. Back to Leroy Fer rumors, I suppose.
