he's 100% going to end up as Men's all time top scorer and unlike Daei isn't the weak region of Asia.

 

As much as I hate him, I cannot disregard the good quality of CR7. His work ethic and professionalism is insane. Being young star since MU day, we would presume he won't make it at RM. But not only improving his skill and taking care of his body, he showed he is a role model for younger player and fans.

He doesn't had any tattoo because he wanted to be able to donate his blood, he did tons of charity work, and many of his teammates gave testimony of how crazy he train everyday up to curating every food and drink that went into his body. He is the complete opposite of Brazilian Ronaldo / R9. R9 is much more talented, I dare to say R9 was as talented as Messi, but R9 lacks of discpline really killed his career, while CR7 is only about like 50% of R9 talent but with much more longevity

 

although R9 got destroyed by injury and later gained weight and started to get called fat Ronaldo, no?

too many coaches/players say R9 was the best player of all time better than Messi.

although I hate R9 for scoring 2 goals on Germany in 2002. Although admit he's a good player.

unlike Messi, Ronaldo has 2 NT trophies for legacy. Could have been a 3rd since Portugal really should have won Euro 2004, LMAO. That Portuguese Golden Generation from early 2000s is much much better than the current crop. Portugal 2016 was one of the worst winners of Euro history.

Ronaldo and Messi are both monsters, can't see anyone break the records they scored like at all. They broke a shit ton of scoring records in league like La Liga too.

same for Gerd Muller's 1BL record, can't see anyone brake that because no one will stay long enough in 1BL to do so. I mean Lewa is 32 and still like 130 goals away from beating Muller, LOL.

Watched the France vs Portugal game on Sunday.

Excellent defences.

One thing that was interesting of note is that because of the physicality of the French midfield Joao Felix could do virtually nothing creatively. He would just get bumped off the ball.

I have heard others say that the small creative #10 like Felix is getting outdated because of physical midfielders that neutralize them.

Maybe this is true or maybe Felix is just too young.

Also if Germany plays Kimmich in CM (not really #10) will this also be the case? Kimmich should be more sturdy than a player like Felix.

 

Krzysztof Piatek who scored for Hertha during their last match day, also scored today for Poland vs Ukraine. He had a breakthrough with AC Milan a couple years ago but faded afterwards. Curious to see if he has a career resurgence. Labbadia did say he'll be moved into a starting role now with Cordoba injured

France is the best team in 2018. Granted not as good as 1998 team but still they deserve the champion. A lost in a friendly like this shouldn't reflect their quality as WC 2 years ago

 

naw wasn't impressed them at the time nor were others here either. They never dominated much throughout tourney and defensively poor too.

 

There's no other footballer I despise more than Iker Casillas, but Sergio Ramos sure is a close second, so much so that I would personally love to smash his knees with a sledgehammer.
