He is a guy that takes you so far. Nothing will change for him in getting outcoached by managers through a season when his A plan doesnt work. Good players have many bad games over a season and what do you need to do when a game isnt going your way? Make adjustments which he cannot do. Its only been a few years, cant forget his faults that easily He's a nice guy but lacks fire. Dont want to think of that semi final but knew what was coming before the game. The naivety or arrogance to think he could just play his game against a counter attacking United with Greenwood and Rashford on the wings. A serious coach would have made adjustments and Roma had a fine chance of beating that average united team, instead of being embarrassed again. What would Jose had done in that situation? Roma would have been in another final.
Xavi fired and sounds like Ten Haag is out as well. Brutal summer for managers. Funny thing is Barca now have to pay a severance to Xavi, who wanted to quit only a couple months back.
With United’s win today they will play Europa League next season instead of Chelsea. Definitely prefer them to Chelsea.
The likes of Porto and Salzburg had off seasons but would expect them to correct that next season. Theres plenty of team in it that would give Roma trouble. The Roma squad as it needs at least 5 more quality players to compete to the end of a season. Say they lose 3-4 of the important players this season, they will need about 8 good players in to cut the cycle of running out of steam by April. Its all possible if they take the direction change in policy thats needed.
The big negative next season is there will be more games in EL now with the format change. 8 games now in the first round instead of 6, and there’s an extra two leg elimination round for teams that finish below certain places in the table.
: Edinson Cavani decides to retire from international football with Uruguay Cavani won’t play anymore for the national team, full focus on Boca Juniors for Matador starting from now. One more special fan in the stands for Uruguay
Last time Fenerbahçe won the league was in 2014Last 10 campaigns= 0 titlesLast time they won the Cup was in 2013Last 11 campaigns= 0 titlesLast time they participated in UCL Groups was in 2008/2009No UCL football for 15 seasons! It's always Mourinho and hard challenges pic.twitter.com/V72mnWnrXX— Sajjad Lattef (@ImSajjadLattef) May 31, 2024
Its hard to believe they have not competed in the CL since 2008. Has there been some sort of time wrap.
Seems to be correct, but the mousexuals are as usual spinning their tinted views on the world out of their sardine stuffed asses. Plus they could've qualified 10 times in the last 15 years, they just needed to go through the pre-group CL qualifications as Turkey has no automatic CL spots. Fenerbahce is still one of the best Turkish teams, who's entering CL from the 2nd qualifying round this year, so as long as they can beat their opponents for entering CL, they'd be in it. Loserinho just needs to win a few matches. "Last 10 campaigns 0 titles" yeah sure mousexual fact-distorter - just 6 2nd finished and 2 3rd finishes in 8 seasons, Loserinho is taking over a underdong to bring them from the ashes eat shit my portuguese sardines-back-stuffers. "Last 11 campaigns no titles" ooopsie - they have 1 league win and 2 Turkish cup titles in the last 11 seasons. "Last time they won the cup was in 2013" - another oooopsie - it was in 2022-2023 season. Haha stuff some more sardines up your ass loser and check your mousexual reposts next time. Under 0 credibility, minus 1 000 000 IQ.
5 Champions League titles!! I've always pictured him as Roma's coach, even though I know he won't succeed here due to Roma's toxic environment, Just like his tenures at Napoli and Everton. He's the kind of coach who can work wonders with the right players. Give him the tools, and he'll deliver the goods!
Toxicity had nothing to do with it. The teams didn’t have the quality of players he is used to coaching.
A friend of mine is a fan of Milan and Fenerbance. What a summer - Flopseca in Milan, Loserinho in Fenerbahce, the only way he could've gotten more shafted would've been if his clubs hired Moronchi and 7/8 Pants + Flipflops Combo Petrachi as directors sports.
Everton was always a strange choice for him. He isnt the coach to improve middle of the road players but give him a big squad and he has the personality to just bring calm to the place. Has to be who he is as a person that really drives the players because when you look at his tactics is never anything stand out. If he ever did come to Roma, I dont see how it would be a success unless the stadium is built and they have the ability to buy big players. Zidane maybe the same profile in management.
Fr Fred I admit fenerbache owner has bigger ambitions than united, spurs and roma owner None of those owner wanted to actually win ,their ambition is simply just top 4
Roma players =\= roma as a club , learn to differentiate things , the players are just replaceable employees Jose wanted to win But what about the owner , the players and the fans ? They are all happy to just finish in top 4 , there is no pressure to win
How do you say royally triggered in Turkish, b*tch? You seem to be just that. Go eat Fenerbahce's owner duner kebab smelling balls now.
