It is a bit funny seeing those in the premier league complain about their players being sniped by the Saudi’s offering massive salaries. As if the the Premier League hasn’t been the one doing the same to every other league for the last 15 years.

Surprised how bad Flick was for Germany. When he was hired it didn’t seem like you could find a more perfect coach for them.

IMO Germany transitioning to new generation still. Kind of like Italy now post-Chiellini/Buffon or France post-Zidane/Deschamps or Greece post-Karagounis/Katsouranis. It's very difficult when your most senior leaders and best players get too old.

Germany has been boring for years. The nose and arse pick and sniffer was at least 2 tournaments past his sell-by date before he got the chop. They have been in downfall since those failed tournaments with their big players still playing.

Zinedine Zidane is in the building to watch the U.S. Open Cup final. [IMG]

Unfortunately, he won’t get to see Lionel Messi playing tonight.

Bald fraud is probably still kicking himself for choosing to retire instead of coming to LA.

I thought the reason Zidane didn't sign with MLS at time or in 2006 was because his transfer fee from Real was $10 million?

As I recall, no one across the league then could afford it.

Don’t know what it is with United and keepers. Onana has been garbage. Watch De Gea turn into prime Casillas where ever he ends up.

Those short passes are programmed into his previous clubs. United are still not capable of doing that so comfortably. Short passing every time system managers is embarrassing but everybody wants to be Pep nowadays.

Icardi went to that same corner to make amends for his previous pen miss and missed again but he showed his absolute class with the winner. This is a guy who had the ability to be the best 9 of his generation ruined by the slag beside him. His own fault of course.
