That's BS. Even Liverpool isn't going to pay that much. Bayern FO is crocked in the head. Arsenal has agreed personal terms with Xhaka which means they are out of the running as well. So that just leaves Chelsea who won't offer CL, Liverpool who might depending on Wednesday and thus front runners and finally BVB who will not match his inflated salary but can not only offer CL football but also a deep run + BL title run. Oh and he gets to stay in Germany. Bayern are a bunch of fuking hypocrites. When he moved there they said we should be glad that the talent stayed in Germany. But now they are singing to a different tune. Sleazy scumbags. Yesterday he said that he doesn't want to discuss transfers because he wants to give his best next weekend in the cup final. I just want to know what is the best one can give when on the bench?
woah WTF!? Loew brings Rudy, Schweinsteiger, Poldi and Schuerle....but no Schmelzer?! What a wank biscuit
Schürrle was bang average for more than three-quarters of the season. Can's been playing CM for us all season long as well, but seems to be in there as a FB option. Baffling.
Good. The fewer BVB players the better. Hopefully Gotze doesn't play much....just in case he comes back. German media is going nuts of Schmelzer snub.
as they should. thought he was done last year, but he came back great this season and was very consistent
Loew has always been very strange in his selections. He is absurdly attached to some players (ie: Poldi), and completely dismissive of others. Schmelzer absolutely deserves to be at the Euro.
Schmelzer doesn't compete with most of the mentioned players, though. His competition are Hector and Höwedes who appeared to be out injured for much of the season. But I really think that Löw just doesn't like Schmelzer, maybe even on a personal level. Remember that game against Austria? Löw singled out Schmelzer (which is done so rarely otherwise) although the equalizer almost came from Lahm's side by a similar play. The only difference was a bad miss by Arnautovic. Klopp had a point when he questioned why more often than not, it seems to be someone from Dortmund whenever a player gets blamed in public by name. Poldi is the other extreme. Löw just loves him.
I can garantee that even if BVB won 3 trebles in a row with a squad consisting exclusively of german players Löw would still at most have a few of them as unused subs.
Great, Liverpool and Sevilla fans are fighting in the stands before the kick off. Must be a hell of a game
It's very difficult to not be when you play a Klopp team for the first time and try to play proactive football.
45 more minutes and Klopp will have his first European Cup. Liverpool is slightly above average team right now, but they went through United, us, Vilarreal and possibly Sevilla. Not bad at all.
