Angel Edo won the stage, and Candido Barbosa[LA Pecol Bombarral} is the new Yellow jersey leader.
The problem with Candido is the mountains.
Rui Pinto, Paredes team, was the men of the day and won the white Jersey.

Candido Barbosa a portuguese for the LA Pecol Bombarral still got the yellow shirt.
    3. Pedro Lopes LA Pecol at 12 seconds

The changes are going to come in the mountains, and the Trial-stages. Sunday is the big race in the Mountains of Serra da Estrela, I am hoping to be watching it live in Portugal.

64 Volta a Portugal [Tour of Portugal]

5th stage and one of most difficult stages created a lot of changes in the overall standings
The winners were the Mss Maia Milaneza a portuguese team when three of there cyclists Goncalo Amorim, Rui Sousa, Joan Horrach, and Boavista Arreitunandia took off from the Peloton.
First was Goncalo Amorim that push all the way from the first mountain, to the one before last, winning all the mountain stops, winning the blue shirt, then was Rui Sousa turn to push all the way to the top, so the final 1km Joan Horrach would pull and win the stage and the yellow shirt.
    Overall standings
    1. Joan Horrach Maia team
    3. Rui Sousa Maia team
    5. Fabian Jenker Maia
    6. Claus Moeller Maia

    10. Rui Lavarinhas Maia

Candido Barbosa a sprinter just couldn't keep the yellow shirt.
I always say that the overall standings are won by the best climbers.
Milan Mss portuguese team show today why they one of the favorites for the Spanish La Vuelta to starter on Sep. 7 live on OLN TV.

Rosa Mota, Rui Silva also won the bronze medal in the European championships in the 1500m.
Francis Obikwelu his the fast 100, and 200 m run ever. His favor to win a medal at the World Championships next year, in the European championships in Germany he was awesome. The all Cafe stop to watch the 100meters.
He will be the next portuguese star in sports.
Francis Obikwelu beating the portuguese record again, against the best american athlets proves not only his good against the Europeans but his also against the best world runners the Jamaicans and USA. Don't forget at the moment the faster runner his not a american but a Greek run he won the gold medal in the European championships and should be strong at the next Olympics at home.

I don't think Francis Obikwelu will be working in construction in the near future, I believe his also a runner for the Sporting club the Portuguese champion.
