the cops were holding everyone up at the curb, until about 30 minutes before the parade came by when they let us out on the shoulder of broad street. the family in front of me took too long to get up off their blankets, pack up their shizz, and pack in tight with their fellow fans, so i got a prime location. so the kids got a few bloody noses and maybe a concussion or two ...

and in the immortal words of chase utley ... WORLD F*CKING CHAMPIONS!

Is anyone else here planning on making the trip to Toronto this spring for the first round of the 2009 World Baseball Classic? A buddy and I are planning to go, and we just got a confirmation e-mail that we can get tickets. It's gonna be sweeeeeet.

I can't make it that time of year, but I am actually going to Toronto for the Phils/Jays weekend series in July. We're just praying that TFC is home that weekend, as a top-off.

After an early gift to the Eagles, it looks like the Giants are on their way to an easy victory. I really don't like the Giants. Oh well.

Okay, I said that out of a weekend of football frustration, but I will admit that the Birds (at least) did put up a fight.

I think we should start speaking of Reid in the past tense.

    Or at least the interrogative.

Anyone else ready for Andy Reid to be on his way out? I'm not ready for McNabb to get out yet, but after today's performance he's well on his way.

As much as I appreciate what they've achieved together, it's time to move on.

After last week's game I wanted Reid out. After this week I want McNabb out. We can't have both leave. As much as I am upset with both of them, it would be disastrous. The two most important parts of the team are the coach and quarterback. If McNabb goes, then we will complain about the asinine play calls. But in order to grow, he needs to go, then Reid.

I disagree. I think Reid has to go. I think McNabb shouldn't go anywhere until we know what we have in Kevin Kolb (who I fear is another Bobby Hoying).

McNabb may do his share of f#cking up, but it's not like better quarterbacks are beating down our door for a chance either.

Back to Reid. I think we can't keep Reid on as GM either. Full separation.

However, I think we won't see that because Reid is Lurie and Banner's boy. I don't see them firing Reid at all.

Reid won't go unless he resigns. And he won't resign. Where else can he f#ck up royally over half the time, make the same tired, lame ass excuses, the same tired, lame ass promises and continue to get away with it??

Management won't do anything as long as the The Linc is filled every game day and Lurie is still filling his pockets.

This owner doesn't care about winning a Super Bowl. He cares about making money and nothing else.

I don't care if we go back to sucking again for a few seasons as long as we get rid of Reid. I believe Reid has hit a wall and won't take this team forward until he realizes his shit isn't working and he needs to try something new.

And as we've seen over the years, that ain't gonna f#ckin' happen......

Oh. Yeah. As if a freakin' tie in Cincinnati isn't already "sucking........"
