Messi tried to enter the referees room post the LAFC match and had to be restrained by Suarez of all people. Should be suspended similar to Miazga’s suspension (three games). This is the type of behavior that drives me crazy. Don’t hurt your team.
I didn't see the first half, but don't recall anything that bad about the refereeing in the part I saw. I do recall Messi rolling on the ground, but looked like Messi ran into the LAFC player trying to draw a foul. Did I miss an elbow?
if I recall correctly, MLS quickly announced it was a non issue before even pretending to investigate, MLS will always bend the knee to their golden calf
Yeah, I still don't understand this. I always tune in to Doyle and Extra Time. I don't even know what the alternative would be, nor am I interested in finding out. I was positive about the Apple+ deal but the truth is I don't spend an extra minute more than I have to on the platform; it's content offerings for game / league coverage just haven't grabbed me. I dont get it.
I’ve felt for years that Garber has been good for building MLS in every area except marketing, an area where his leadership sucks. Losing Doyle is just another example of MLS going backward in the marketing sphere. Our league product is too good, too valuable to be run like this.
Losing Doyle would be like losing Tutino - so much history. I don't understand the decision. I do see Doyle around reporting on MLS still, so he may land somewhere or build an independent media following.
for the time being he has gone independent, here is his new site, https://tacticsfreezone.ghost.io/ Doyle just seems like an all around good guy, he was on substack but he wasn't on board with their business model so he went with an open source option, not many people in independent media would do something like that sacrificing a more popular service for a lesser known one, I hope we can all support him and other independent media personalities, Alex Ruiz included.
Thank you - this was a good article: https://tacticsfreezone.ghost.io/ranking-all-30-mls-teams-by-tier-for-2026/
"Tramp Stamps" coming to MLS later this year https://www.sportico.com/business/sponsorship/2026/mls-jersey-patch-lower-back-ads-1234885704/
Neal started for Montreal today and was yanked at halftime. I didn’t fault him on their goal against in the half he played. It got worse defensively with him on the bench.
Miami haters will be delighted to know Messi & Co are down to Orlando 2-0 at the half. MIA dominating but ORL scores their 2 goals on their first 2 shots. MIA xG 0.80 ORL xG 0.17 PS - This game has CNT implications. Miami’s St. Clair and Orlando’s Crepeau are fighting for the #1 Canadian keeper slot in the WC. In this game Crepeau is winning that battle by a large margin.
Messi: 2 goals, 1 assist, celebrates in front or Orlando supporters group, and offers to autograph a ball for the Orlando coaching staff. Legend.
Thanks for the love 🫶🏽 wish you well too, sounds like you enjoy giving hate to the world. I wish you nothing but the best. 🤞🏽 https://t.co/1BAAjPUbkW pic.twitter.com/n6KDHsRTjS— Christian Ramirez (@Chris_Ramirez17) March 1, 2026 Ramirez gives it to an asshole Galaxy “fan” after scoring today. lol.
The top 4 teams in the Western Conference (SD, VAN, SJ and LAFC) are starting the season on fire. In their combined 8 games they have 8 wins and outscored their opponents 21-0! The good news for us is that 7 of those 8 games were at home and 7 were played against very weak teams (all except LAFC over MIA). They will cool down a bit when they play better teams and hit the road. We lead the second tier with our 4 points, outscoring our opponents 4-1.
