In other news ATL may be f’d with Josef being stretchered off the field at mIn 63. He was on crutches after game and de Boer is saying it doesn’t look good. They have other (meh) scorers but will be a shadow of themselves w/o Martinez.
I'm no doctor but that sure looked like knee ligaments. Which ones and how severe will determine if this is weeks or months I guess...
He's probably out the entire season. I wonder if MLS has a special, unpublished, replacement rule for DPs. Personally, I would be in favor of it.
Here's the Ft Lauderdale stadium where Inter Miami will open their home schedule against Galaxy on the 14th. Looks pretty good so far, per this photo, but it's only one view and I think the side from which the photo was shot has an upper deck (not shown).
YES -- the club razed the old Lockhart and built this, it seats about 18,000 and the idea is to play here while the Miami stadium is constructed . . . but the Miami site now has more delays so this will be the venue for at least 3 years I guess. Per the previous reply, yeah it looks about USL - level. And when a Miami stadium is finally built, this will house a USL team and the academy program, and the surrounding grounds are the team's current training complex. So it is what it is . . . new, simple, small venue, for a few years of play or maybe more. Anyway the Galaxy is here next weekend for Miami's home opener.
Wow. That’s a blast from the past. It doesn’t look all that much different from the original to me besides the color scheme. But I suppose 20 years or so can cloud the memory.

Montreal up 2-0 after 80 minutes at Dallas but end up 2-2 after DAL 17yo homegrown Ricardo Pepi scores in 97th minute.
