I only played in goal once. The coach was a no show so my dad coached for a game when I was 9 or 10. He put me in goal. I didn't allow any goals and I still had a couple. I was mad he put me in goal and still bring it up with him to this day. He says nobody wanted to be the goalkeeper so he didn't want to come off as biased to the other parents.

What's your ruling on this one, @onefineesq?

Final score JEF United Chiba 2-1 Ventforet Kofu. Worst thing Kofu did was score to go up 1-0. Until that point midway through the second half it had all the makings of a bleh 0-0 draw. The JEF woke up and put 4 in the back of the net between the 70th and 86th minute (2 were scrubbed off due to offside).

I think this counts as a WPIOOTBGW: Sacramento concede a penalty while trying to pass the ball out from their own box. Defender underhits a 5-yard pass to a teammate still inside the box, who in the process of trying to keep possession, knocks down the El Paso attacker pressing him. El Paso score the ensuing penalty.

Looked like a soft penalty to me, but why put your teammate in that position in the first place?

Watching the Real Hope - Cibao FC Caribbean Cup semifinal and it looks like their stadium holds about 500 people...I kind of want to see Messi play there just for the logistical lols.

Bonus soccer in Laa Vegas. Unfortunately, it's bonus soccer between two teams that played to a drab 0-0 over 90 minutes.

Between this and the MLS playoff games I've seen, I'm not sure how many minutes of soccer I've watched since I last saw anyone score a goal.

 

Predictably, 0-0 after 120.

 

And then the two teams proceeded to miss the first five shots of the PK shootout.

 

Boreham Wood with an awful set of penalties after coming back from 2-0 behind against Leyton Orient in their FA Cup match.

 

Hednesford, the lowest ranked team in the First Round, were 3-0 up in the 65th minute at home to Gainsborough yesterday.

Gainsborough equalized in the 5th minute of added time resulting in a pitch invasion and confrontation between fans, causing the ref to take the teams off the pitch.

Game ended 4-4 after extra time, Gainsborough winning on penalties.
