Prior to this season only 3 NHL players had ever hit the 100 assist mark (Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux). Gretzky did it 11 times (take away all his goals and he's still the all time leading scorer) while the other two did once. Connor McDavid and Nikita Kucherov both hit that mark this season.
Aston Villa is having a Lille problem in the Conference League. Meanwhile, you almost have to admire the dedication to not scoring Fiorentina and Viktoria Plzen have displayed in both legs of their matchup.
Frimpong scores for Leverkusen in the 89th minute to avoid losing. The 1-1 tie sends them through 3-1 on aggregate in the Europa League. Aston Villa goes through on penalties and are the only team from the EPL left in any of the European competitions.

FA Cup semi final between City and Chelsea is decent but not great. Currently 0-0 in 71st minute. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched a match and not just highlights so that could be jading my opinion.
All I've taken from this is that if Murdryk was 70 million then Atlanta should get at least 100 million for Almada.
You don't get many great games at Wembley. And when you do get memorable games all the action tends to be packed into 15 or 20 minutes.
Watching Loudoun/Louisville on my local CW station, if it’s called the CW any longer. The announcers ( _ _ & Jamie Watson) brought up LCFC striker Adrien Perez and he used to play for DC United before heading to SD Loyal. For the life of me I can’t remember him. DC United has had some unremarkable years recently. 0-0 55’ Thx, Jay!

Perez was in MLS for several years. I remember Adrien Perez mostly because he's an interesting trivia footnote: when he signed with LAFC he was the first player in 20 years to make the jump from an indoor league to MLS.
Controversy at the Canadian Championship as the game between Cavalry and Vancouver FC went ahead despite extreme air quality warnings in Calgary. Cavalry deployed the 10 man advantage to win by a single goal.
After a really entertaining IndyCar race this weekend, which saw Scott Dixon win with a strategy that should have worked, we suddenly get news that the Penske team got smacked cheating the push to pass system in the cars in the season opener and now Newgarden, McLaughlin, and Power have all taken a tumble down the rankings. https://sports.yahoo.com/indycar-race-winner-six-weeks-154900852.html
What other Premier League club has their Director of Football Operations sitting in an NFL Draft War Room, wearing a neck brace from “injuries” suffered on a Pro Wrestling show that they also own? Honestly shocked the answer isn’t Everton. pic.twitter.com/e4f7qB7b4f— Men in Blazers (@MenInBlazers) April 26, 2024
We did it again! Notts County have a 20 pass move. We're comfortably on the edge of the Forest Green Rovers penalty area. FGR put some pressure on. We pass all the way back to our own keeper. He passes it to a midfielder who loses the ball. We get it back, pass it across our own area to a FGR player and they score.
For the 3rd time this year, Stuttgart scores first against Leverkusen. We'll see if they can finally hold on against them.
Leverkusen ties it 2-2 in the 6th minute of stoppage time. This team is stupid with how they just won't/can't lose anything at all.
