#25 Truman State gets back to winning with a 2-0 win over Rockhurst.

Central Missouri State, regionally ranked and receiving national votes, beat Missouri-Rolla 3-1.

#13 Northern Colorado beat Emporia State 4-2 and Rockhurst 2-0.

#9 Regis University lost 2-0 at Metro State. They had a game at Colorado Christian tonight, but I haven't found a score yet.

    They won 6-0.

Belmont Abbey has lost it's second game to an unranked opponent. I wonder if they will drop completely out of the new rankings...

Lockhaven was the only ranked team that played yesterday, and they defeated Corcordia (NY) 11-0. That was a team that had already lost its first 3 games by a cumulative score of 28-2. It had an A-J rating of 380 (good for a rank of 172 of 177.)

No. 5 Nebraska-Omaha (9-0, 2-0) opened North Central Conference play with a pair of wins, 3-0 over North Dakota State and 6-2 over North Dakota.

UND's first goal broke a seven match, 780:47 scoreless streak. Incidentally, both goals were scored on the Mavs' #3 keeper.

Their next match is a biggin' - they travel to No. 11 Northern Colorado (7-0-1, 2-0), who beat St. Cloud State 3-0 and NDSU 7-0 to open NCC play. UNO is 2-3 all-time against the Bears ... 0-3 in the regular season but 2-0 in the postseason.

A shutout would've been nice ... actually, UNO beat Northern Colorado 5-1 in Greeley. Kalyn Sprehe's goal for the Bears broke a 500+ minute scoreless streak for UNO keeper Amy Price.

Also, UNC lost 2-1 home to Metro State for their first loss of the season.

No. 4 Nebraska-Omaha in a bit of mid-week action, slugging their way to a 1-0 win over Rockhurst U. (ranked #7 in the Central region).

This match was fug-lee. Lotta grabbing, elbow swinging and exchanges of some not-so-nice vocabulary ... made the Creighton game look like an exhibition on the Copacabana. All of this was only heightened by a laissez-faire head official. Match report to follow.

Matches Friday at Minnesota-Mankato (10-3, 3-1, #5 region) and Sunday home to South Dakota State (8-5, #8 region) to follow.

Player to watch - MSM's junior forward Amber Dusosky. She's scored 21 goals already (albeit against shaky competition) and doesn't look to be slowing down any time soon.

In more Central region action today, UNO was able to contain the NCC leading scorer Amber Dusosky, holding her to only two shots, and win 3-0 in Mankato.

Elsewhere, South Dakota beat rival South Dakota State (regional #7) 2-0 and Northern Colorado beat perennial doormat Augustana 3-0.

#4 UNO beat South Dakota State 5-0 in Omaha today, moving to 13-0 (5-0 in conference) and recording their 10th shutout of the season.

Northern Colorado and Minnesota-Mankato had a noon match today, but I haven't seen anything from either school or the conference yet.

Surprising South Dakota (9-4, 3-1) swept in-state rivals SDSU and Augustana this week. They host UNO in Vermillion Saturday in what should be a very good game.

the only ranked team to lose today was Chico State, who had risen to #25 on the strength of wins over UCSD and CPP in recent weeks. They lost 3-0 to CSU Santa Barbera...
