Daughter is in the midst of making Apricot jam....my favorite. The tree is loaded so she's starting with about 20 lbs of tree ripened fruit. The peaches and plums will be ready next week. Life is good!

    I like bread and butter
    I like toast and jam

Tomorrow it's either that or a cheese danish liberally slathered with apricot jam. Hot diggity!! :whistling:

A guy died at Machu Picchu, one day after I was there, taking a selfie. No thanks.

For some reason, Twitter pix aren't loading on my iPad. While I was a bit annoyed when I missed out on the jokes about "Bonnie and Clod" in St. Louis for about a day, I think I'm fine with this one.

That's what I mean. I couldn't remember what he called them.

Man, those were difficult. Lots of research, but it was great to learn about the history of football, specially the evolution of tactics.

On a cell phone, asf and soccernutter's avatars scan the same. I thought asf was talking to himself there.

After about an hour yesterday morning Verizon took a day off. It felt really weird, I kept checking my phone all day feeling I was missing something. My PC is linked through them as well.

These days I don’t get out and meet people and Ringo has a limited vocabulary. It did encourage me to clean up my side yard and take a trip to the dump. Stopped at the garden store for potting soil to refresh my raised veggie beds. Then sorted out my workbench in the garage.

Then realized that this is/was normal life. So I grabbed a beer and watched a bit of crowdless footie with canned noise.

Obviously Verizon is back. Damn I was planning pouring concrete for the driveway.

I do talk to myself from time to time, but I wear earphones to lead people to think that I'm talking to somebody on the phone.

Better than dying "over Macho Grande," though.

    "Over Macho Grande?"

"No, I don't think I will ever get over Macho Grande."
