I can't believe the sixers got so many votes, I mean I know they're bad now but this city has a ton of basketball history...at all levels...I wonder why so many people in this poll picked them.
Totally agree (sorry, no Rep available). @ least b-ball is a legit sport, playing in an appropriate venue, even if it is NOT your fave sport. But,... INDOOR US football? You must be kidding!

The Sixers are an unwatchable team even by the standards of the horrible, unwatchable league that the NBA has become.
right now...but I figured their history and the tradition of the sport in this city would warrant people choosing another team.
i don't see the Soul, KiXX, Wings, or Barrage as "teams" in the academic sense, so they couldn't get a vote from me. i thought we were talking about legitimate sports, so of the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Phantoms, Sixers, i'm all for nixing the Six.
I agree with you, and I have to say, I actually am enjoying watching the Sixers. They aren't particularly good, and the 7 losses certainly doesn't help, but they put up a great fight last night against San Antonio. I don't know, maybe it's just because this is my first real season following them, and I haven't had to deal with the failure that long.
Definately the Kixx. I went to a couple of games when I was younger and didn't think it was any good. It really is a disgrace to Football. They are just rejected outdoor players.
It's like a battle of evils. But I will reiterate. Look at that "field!" I think I grandmother could run this field without getting out of breath.
