I can't believe the sixers got so many votes, I mean I know they're bad now but this city has a ton of basketball history...at all levels...I wonder why so many people in this poll picked them.

Totally agree (sorry, no Rep available).
@ least b-ball is a legit sport, playing in an appropriate venue, even if it is NOT your fave sport.
But,... INDOOR US football? You must be kidding!

Well, I guess everyone who voted out the Kixx & Phantoms will actually get their wish.

They are putting plans together to tear down the Spectrum and the Kixx will be left out of a home.

The Sixers are an unwatchable team even by the standards of the horrible, unwatchable league that the NBA has become.

right now...but I figured their history and the tradition of the sport in this city would warrant people choosing another team.

i don't see the Soul, KiXX, Wings, or Barrage as "teams" in the academic sense, so they couldn't get a vote from me. i thought we were talking about legitimate sports, so of the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Phantoms, Sixers, i'm all for nixing the Six.

I don't disagree with you, but I imagine that's the reasoning.

I agree with you, and I have to say, I actually am enjoying watching the Sixers. They aren't particularly good, and the 7 losses certainly doesn't help, but they put up a great fight last night against San Antonio. I don't know, maybe it's just because this is my first real season following them, and I haven't had to deal with the failure that long.

The Barrage is an outdoor lacrosse team... they play in the Downingtown area I think.

Definately the Kixx. I went to a couple of games when I was younger and didn't think it was any good. It really is a disgrace to Football. They are just rejected outdoor players.

It's like a battle of evils. But I will reiterate. Look at that "field!" I think I grandmother could run this field without getting out of breath.
