I'm sure this has popped up at some point but I have never seen it. I was just curious if any of my fellow supporters have played it, and what your rosters are, here's mine:
    3-5-2
22 man roster(so I could have more transfer money)
Thomas Ernst-GK (from VFB Stuttgart) 81
    Milton Reyes-RCB 73
    Mike Petke-CB 72
    Ivan McKinley-LCB 66
    Lazo Alavanja-RWM 66
    Ben Olsen-RCM 69
    Marco Etcheverry-CM 64
    Bruno Cheyrou-LCM(from Liverpool) 76
    John Harkes-LWM 60
    Alexander Zickler-RS(from Bayern Munich) 84
    Dema Kovalenko-LS 69

    Subs:
    Eliseo Quintanilla
    Jamie Moreno
    Wes Hart
    DeMarcus Beasley
    Riche Williams

    Reserves:
    Ali Curtis
    Justin Mapp
    Bobby Convey
    Nick Rimando
    Eddie Pope
    Alexi Lalas

Nice lineup. I play as DC a lot, too, though I do keep it only to the players currently on the squad.

    Attacking 3-5-2
    Rimando
    Nelsen Petke Reyes
    Olsen Convey Kovalenko
    Stewart Etcheverry
    Eskandarian Quaranta

If you have the Creation Center version then you can add (copy) Stewart from the US NT to DCU. The other stuff can be done with transfers. You would have to create Eskandarian and Ivanov, though.

I had tears in my eyes when I sent Pope and Moreno to the Metros.

One question, why do you have Eddie as a reserve?

Eddie is terribly rated in this game. I think he's like a 42 or something.

I tried to keep as real as possible (i.e. not signing Beckham or Ronaldo), but I like to play in the tournaments, and I couldn't win with MLS based players so I had to go as big as possible, that and I like to win big, Zico's already got 50 goals in 15 games on world class in the season mode. Like a hot knife through butter.

odg78 is correct Eddie sucks in this game, and I don't have the heart to ditch him, yet.

Having Eddie ranked poorly is one of the Seven Deadly Sins -Thou Shalt not Rank Legends of DC United Badly In Video Games.

I have a PS2 so I have no Creation Center. I am stuck without Stewart or the option of creating any players. I go with a 4-4-2 starting lineup.

    Rimando (GK)
    Prideaux (LB)
    Nelsen (RCB)
    Petke (LCB)
    Reyes (RB)
    Convey (LM)
    Etcheverry (LCM)
    Kovalenko (RCM)
    Olsen (RM)
    Stoichkov (LF)
    Quaranta (RF)

    My subs are:
    Quintanilla (though he's bald)
    Barclay
    Namoff
    Alegria
    Curtis
Harkes (in a matter of days)

Does a PS2 version of FIFA 2003 exist with Creation Center??? I'm so annoyed it's not "in the game."

the ps2 doesn't, nor any of the console games. if you have it for pc then you can download it from some website.
oh, and if anyone wants to know i have rimando as a reserve because i don't like to have a goalie on my bench.

I'm forced to buy great players when playing in that game for a couple reasons.

    1. I suck at it and will not win games without good players. I play it on professional.

    2. I don't have the creation version and I actually only have it for Playstation, not PS2. So playing with DCU is so incredible annoying. Considering Eddie is actually a 21, I think thats the worst player I've seen in the game so far. Agoos is rated a 42. That shows how stupid the rating system is. Convey also sucks along with many other DC players. The first thing I tried to do was go to edit and make them better, but then came to find that there was no edit area. I only wanted to play with DC with the right players so now I just don't play with them at all.

BTW, the version I have just sucks all around really. The best part is the actual game play which is good, but besides that, the game is a joke. You pick from like five stadiums and they're generic like "Open Oval Style" or "Closed Square Style"

    I need a PS2. :( Or at least a creation center.

I've got PS1 and had a hard time finding some of the players...I've tried to keep it as close to the team as possible... granted I did have Ravaldo play in one game just for fun... Plus, Q2 isn't on my version

    Rimando (K)
    Reyes (LB)
    Nelson (CB)
    Petke (CB)
Sanneh (RB) - I couldn't find Stewart, figured Sanneh would do well...
    Kovalenko (LW)
    Etchevery (LM)
Ivanov (RM) - Not the same one, found this one on some Austrian team or something...
    Olsen (RW)
    Stoichkov (LF)
    Quaranta (RF)

I hope (the real) Stoichkov scores half as many goals as he's scored for me already in the game.

I hate the fact that in the MLS season, you only play the east teams. I'm so sick of playing the same teams over and over and over again.

I'm not at the Professional level yet. I'm working my way up... when I can win three games in a row without allowing a score, I change the settings up to professional to get my a$$ kicked.

I also hate that offsides is NEVER called... I'm tempted just to turn it off so that I don't expect it to get called.

    I haven't begun a season w/ DCU yet--waiting until April. I'm currently muddling through a World Tour and a Serie A season.

    UNREAL !

can anyone tell me whay Alegria has a rating of 78?
    and pope like low 40's
I know alegria is a decent player, but not a superstar, and should not have a higher rating than moreno, or etch..or even williams!

Pope is rated in the 40's because of injuries.

The only thing I can think of is that the creation centre isn't made by ea sports for the pc, so maybe thats it. There might be a way to alter your saved game data, which might not be worth the risk.

Levski and CSKA are different teams. We signed Galin Ivanov...Georgi Ivanov is a different player.

I like a challenge in any way whether it be playing soccer outside with my friends or playing the video game. So I usually pick a crap team in one of the leagues and go "scouting" for bargain players. Meaning I look through rosters on team management and look for the best cheap players I can find. So basically I pretend I'm a manager taking over a club on the brink of relegation and in a piss poor financial situation.

Though I did start a season with Celtic and bought the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs, Patrick Viera, Alan Shearer, Bjorkland of Sunderland, Dietmar Hamman, John O'Brien, Van der Meyde, Buffon, Wes Brown, and Steve McManaman. You want domination? Celtic was already miles ahead of the rest of the league (Rangers the exception), but now its pure domination. Even on professional.

But more than anything I wish they had a creation center. Then I would play with DC all the time. Just when the actual game play starts getting good with the newer games, the other half starts to reach new levels of suckdom.

Uhhh...there is no creation center unless you downloaded a patch for the PC version of the game.
