and me and my neighbors would be among the 98,000. They're still telling us Friday by 6 PM, so I'm inclined to believe that we're at the bottom of the priority list. If the power isn't back by 1 AM Friday, someone gets to have me over to watch the DCU tape delay!! I'll bring snacks.
So I'm in the inner sanctum of my apartment when the lights come back on around 11:00 PM last night. Not where I wanted to be, but hey, I'll take it. Here's hoping the rest of you get it back soon. Sachin
I came home for lunch at 12:30 and ten minutes later the lights came on! I wonder if my call at 5:30am from work had anything to do with it (I actually woke up at the ungodly hour of 4:30am! ). The person I spoke to sounded confused that we did not have power after almost a week. If feels SO GOOD to have power back. I hope everyone else that is still in the dark gets their power back soon.
Very good article. A rate increase could be the only logical explanation. It has happened in other cities as well, notably Cleveland.
