I go to William and Mary and we were told to leave on Tuesday. The College is also closed until "further notice", yeah life is good right now.

I just bought an umbrella... I mean, it's only rain, right?

actually... my house has a good shot of flooding, so I'm doing whatever seems necessary... sandbags and plastic sheets... who knows. All I'm worried about is how long the power will be out. The flooding can be dealt with, the winds, dealt with, but it sucks not having electricity.

I'm going to the VT-Texas A&M game tonight. We're planning on driving back right after the game. Somehow, I think that plan might change.

I think I'll find a big tree to park my '97 Saab under - it's time for a new one.

I think we have better odds of winning this game by a large margin than you do of catching a plane out at that hour. I hope you do, I want to see you there. I want to crank up the volume on my TV and hear someone berating the referee, and telling Albright what a punk he is.

well i am sure the damn planes will be running by tomorrow night or saturday morning, i can still get to the game if i caught the early flight saturday. just think, i'll be that more pissed off when i compare brian hall and albright's mothers with serna's.

DC friends, as someone who went through Andrew in Florida, I'd like to wish you well and hope for your safety.

Though I really hope your team is involved in a drive-by shooting in South Central. And speaking of, Red&Black has a special baseball bat waiting for him. ;-)

There you have it folks - spoken like a true heavy weather veteran.

Having survived a few typhoons myself using the aforementioned preparations, I can state with a high degree of certainty that it does work.

Now as long as I can keep the power from going out so I can watch Colorado beat NE (which will give a few more points cushion).

    Go DC United!

It would probably work, but I got Captain Morgan sitting next to me and I think it is working!

I hope power doesn't go out so I can watch the game out of the one un-patched eye.

Don't forget a half inch of snow in the winter, too.

We have classes off today at Mason, and I have no Friday classes so I've got a 4 day weekend. We still have practices though.
