Using a Mac and Safari. Try to play mls videos. All I get is a spinning circle. Tried Firefox, same thing. Tried windows and IE same thing.
I started getting that (using Chrome) a couple days ago. I turned off ad-blocker for the page and now it works fine, which is weird, considering no advertising actually plays (which is usually the reason videos on other sites don't play).
Same problem with Chrome and ad-blocker. If I try it in IE, it plays after ignoring the stupid commercial that plays first.
Thanks, turned off adblocker and not only did it work, but soccernet started working again also. My adblock extension still blocks ads and doesn't cause conflicts.
Is that the new ESPNFC.com? It took me awhile to work out that was being caused by the ad-blocker as well, which is weird considering it strips the whole site of CSS.
Yes, it was very odd. Gizmodo used to do the same thing, but I haven't had a problem in a while on that site.
I'll have to try this when I get home. I was having the same problem with Internet Exploder, 3 different versions of Fire Fox, and 3 different versions of Flash in the different versions of FF. Lets just say that I really wanted to watch highlights without getting my work computer out.
I discovered that, in Chrome, I had both AdBlock and AdBlock Plus (beta) installed. Disabling AdBlock allowed me to view MLS videos again (after ignoring the commercial video that plays). I was able to leave AdBlock Plus (beta) enabled and don't see any advertisements on websites.
