Peter Osgood (chelsea has been) launched a ridiculous attack on Francis Jeffers after last nights game..calling him the biggest cheat he had ever seen...couldn't have seen much of Zola and Hasselblank then. http://msn.skysports.com/skysports/article/0,,2060-1085137,00.html
This sounds like the rantings of a bitter man who knows that his side can't beat Arsenal, so he resorts to name-calling. This combined with the two pelting incidents in the last two matches just shows how classless Chelsea's fans and some in their organization really are. Let's hope Ken Bates does the right thing and issues an apology about that as well as the throwing. He also should ban Osgood from Stamford Bridge for encouraging the kind of reckless behavior Blues' supporters have been portraying lately.
I think Bates has already banned Osgood from Stamford bridge, he used work for them on the hospitalty side, but now scrapes a living at southampton.
I never saw Jeffers dive in this one and he never backed down from the Cheap shots he was taking. If anything I have more respect for him after this game. He is a diver though.
For the record, Osgood is a Chelsea and Philadelphia Fury has been. Actually, he was more of a never-was with the Fury.
