He's a great player but we know Colombians struggle mentally so this move could be perfect for him. I'm confident rangers will buy him permanently. He is more talented than the Buffalo and younger than morelos was so I think that he could get an epl move at some point in the future

Yes, I think Paramount has the Scottish league so you can watch replays.

It will be interesting to see how Lorenzo rates Scotland. We all know that he likes players who play well in MLS.
If Cortes continues to play well in these next couple weeks and is not called up for the March friendlies then that can be an indication to me that he may rate Scotland worse than MLS.

Although I will try not to make that blanket statement cause it may also mean we have way too many other players at that position rated ahead of him.

Does he rate the mls or are 90% of our friendlies in the US already and those guys have visas to be in the US?

He calls MLS players during Qualifiers so it has nothing to do with friendlies or visas.

welcome to Scotland, not even a mean old bastard like Gordon Ramsay could handle football in scotland. Ankle injury ruined his hopes of going pro in the 90s

I'm fine with him playing at Rangers. Hopefully builds up his confidence and he has the sense to make the move up in comp when ready.

would love to have a friendly against Rangers vs Nacional/Junior or who ever is champion this season to see how good or bad that league is.

really? I think at 20 yo he still has a ton of potential. He definitely has a much higher ceiling but needs time to adjust to Euro futbol. Hope he just stays injury free but for sub23 he's solid.

He’s obviously a good pro player and should be around for a while, but I don’t really see a high ceiling on him as to feel him being at rangers is beneath him as for example Asprilla being at Wattford is a waste

I guess time will tell. Seeing him play on that RW I think he's fast, has dribble, goal and strength. He's no way near Arias or even Sini at this point but we're not so deep at RW to snub him out just yet.

what happened with Oscar Perez and the Millos kid who was suppose to replace Cortes? Quiet seasons? I remember everyone saying they were both the future last season and a bunch of euro teams linked to them

Guy got back on the pitch today. Didn't watch it myself but he was subbed off at half time.

Didn't play EL because of injury again! Seems like another one who is struggling to handle the physical European football.
