He would be a poor version of Isco there.

He might do well as LM in a 442 or 4411 formation.

A negative about Isco is that he really can't play for 90 minutes. Usually disappears in the second half and I don't see that ever changing.

Should be instructed to run his heart out and subbed 55-60 mins into the game.

Yes 4-4-2 or if we decide to play 3-5-2 but again we tried this before and didn't really work

Robertson ain't doing nothing against Fede and Casemiro, he can do that to PL teams no problems though

I don't get the Liverpool obsession some people have. They are breaking records in the Premier league and won the CL. They deserve their time in the sun and all the flowers they get right now.

Just because some people refuse to give the real Madrid team that broke European football its credit doesn't mean we should do the same with everybody else.

Seems like you have a phobia against Liverpool?

They are doing fantastic at the moment. They can beat anybody on their day (as can we).

Right now, they are no more less than what we are.

Talk to any supporter of a major club and they'll probably say they have the best player/s at some position. The exact same thing is done here and if you asked other teams fans they'd disagree with some of the players we would claim to be the absolute best at their position.

He's a good attacker. Terrifying? He's never hit Marcelo peak.

Sure. But Varane, Ramos, Casemiro, Valverde, Kroos are all top 3 in the world in their position. Not me being biased but it's a fact. You could also argue for Benz and Courtois.

Casemiro is undisputed best DM. Valverde box to box. Varane & Ramos are top 3 with Van Diijk. You can argue others however you want.

Both of their FBs> our FBs
It's the midfield where we can win the battle should they get tied against us

I don’t know, Robertson and TAA are good going forward but can definitely be tested when defending, especially TAA, if they met us, I think all 4 FB’s would have a lot of work to do defending, would be interesting to watch especially if Carva had a good day

TAA is very good at defense too. He recorded the most interceptions and tackles across both legs of the UCL QF last year. It's just that he happens to have the best crossing skills in that team so Klopp gives him freedom to March forward with every attack so sometimes they get caught on the counter on his side.

He's ok, average. Best in the world at his position, but not because of his defense.

TAA is an excellent defender. I’d say he’s much better than Robertson in defending as well as attacking. When City played Liverpool and he was new (in 2018) Manchester City tried to exploit TAA by setting up the team to isolate him 1v1 against Sane. TAA owned Sane that day.

Robertson is a hack with lots of energy and a good cross. TAA is a complete technical player, similar to Alves (who imo is unfortunately the best all time rightback) but without the filthy behaviour.

    This is the reality.

Their attack is better than ours as well.

I genuinely can't believe LV and Case are still on the field. Carlo pulling a Zizou and waiting to make subs at the 85th min or something?

Credit to Nacho he has been pretty good handling Dumfries. That dude has scary pace. Big W for Inter signing him from PSV.

I love Musah, but I have to admit he wasn't nearly as impactful as he was against Mexico..

Pulisic is going to get fouled every time he tries to take a player on. We need to make sure we get him the ball close to goal so at least the free kicks are in a dangerous place.
