Agreed. That was pretty funny. And nice job of keeping it going a couple of times so that people could pick up on it!
That's where they brought it from. A couple of them were BU hockey fans. And I didn't once try and run them over.
Hey no problem, we didn't wanna show up empty handed chant-wise. We were glad everyone liked it, we thought ya might. Use it against all red state teams. Oh and just for the record I am not one of the BU people, I am an NU person thank you very much. Where can I find the words to the Marine Corps Hymn song? I've also got an old Boy Scout camp song that I converted to be about the Revs, next time I see ya's I'll sing it for you and see what you think.
Re: this one's for Dorman The wheels on your house go round and round, round and round, round and round........The wheels on your house go round and round........Cause your rednecks! Mike
Ah but notice, I never said you were a BU person, I just said the chant was a BU chant and a couple of your group was BU! I don't know, but I've been told Revos (insert US here) balls are made of Gold I don't know, but it's been said Chivas (insert opponent here) balls are made of Lead Sound Off (One, Two) Sound Off (Three, Four) Break it on down (One, Two, Three, Four ... One, Two ... (Insert US! or Revs! here). Got this from a Quakes fan in SLC a month ago!
Re: this one's for Dorman Us and Harvard are too busy getting **********faced to notice. One of my friends actually has a 1988 NU Beanpot Champs shirt he keeps locked up. Monty I know you weren't saying I was a Terriah, just clarifying for others. Oh, and not that MC Hymn thing- the one that involves the lines "we'll be drinking in the parking lot." Hey Ed, I hum it all the time and live in your town. So if you're walking around and you hear the tune it's me hahah...
Re: this one's for Dorman Ahh sorry. I think this is right, the only word I can't currently remember is in the last line "From the Halls of Foxboro Stadium, To the Seats of Section 2. We're the fighting (or f'in) Revolution And we're all Red, White and Blue. We'll be drinking in the parking lot, We'll be ready for a fight! If you meet us on the pitch tonight, You better bring more than you got(?) (Lala la-la la-la la lala Lala la-la la-la la lala)
Re: this one's for Dorman This is how I heard it From the Halls of Foxboro Stadium, To the Seats of Section 2. We're the fighting (or f'in) Revolution And we're all Red, White and Blue. We'll be drinking in the parking lot, We'll be ready for the Ruck (OI OI!) If you meet us on the pitch tonight You better bring more than your luck.. (Lala la-la la-la la lala Lala la-la la-la la lala)
From the halls of Foxboro Stadium To the seats in section 2 We're the ********ing revolution (although 'fighting' would fit too) and we're all red white and blue yeah we're drinking in the parking lot and we're ready for a ruck ( a ruck) and if you meet us on the pitch tonite you'd better bring more than good luck same melody with "la la's"
Again raising my ongoing request that we get all the 'standard' chants into a songbook and published on the web...
Speaking of originality: http://pages.sbcglobal.net/jamesey/...2005/chivas.mov Warning: it's a bit of a long download, and you may need a recent version of Quicktime to view it, but it's more than worth it. The Magpie
What? There's another word that rhymes with "luck"? My biggest issue is that it would be easier for a chant to catch on in surrounding sections if we just slowed it down a little. And, it would be much easier to be understood over the airwaves. - HWM
