Yup, end neither are in same class as Robben IMO. My list: 1. Cruijff 2. Robben 3. VBasten BTW funny you should mention Seedorf........LOL
The worst sign is that Wales wants the ball, ants to attack and that they are annoyed at Netherlands frustrating them to get some flow. Normally at the 76th minute mark they should want to go to the shower.
Robben and van Persie have this thing for missing absolutely unmissable chances.. They always had this.
We can do good even without a player who is among the top 3 in the world (like Robben). We just need regular leading players in the worl'ds biggest clubs. Those exactly were RvN and Seedorf: Leading players in two of the world's biggest clubs at that time. They weren't the only ones of course, I just mentioned them cause they are the youngest out of this great generation we had. Right now we are not even close to that.
Remember this is wales without bale and ramsey and who have made a lot of subs! We should be murdering this team
For me the biggest problem is the midfield. Holland doesn't keep possession there like they used to do few years ago against teams like Wales, Hungary, Romania... A lot of passes behind and it ends with a long ball on Dost who will miss his first touch... I want to see more volume in the midfield, more physical presence and possession.
Such a rebound goal from a penalty is also something a manager can solve, by having the quickest guys close to center so that they have the shortest space to cover and do repair work.
