De Boer? Ugh, anybody for a game of Russian (Dutch) roulette?

Well, I personally think that Dick is a dick for not letting Makaay get any playing time. If I was Makaay I would refuse the call up for the next INternational after the Euro Cup. I't just a slap in the face that a player with such a great season as Makaay would get zero playing time.

The Dutch should have learned from the French when they benched Desailly. Cocu has looked horrible in this tourny he could cost them dearly. And now with De Boer in the lineup as well the Dutch could get caught on the counter by the feisty Latvians.

Hope so. Still debating whether I should drop $20 on this one. I have to go to work at the half.

    Go Czechs!

Only Dick Advocaat could manage to find reasons to keep Makaay on the bench..

Even though I like HOlland I sincerely hope they lose this game so they can get some sort of an idea of how much Dick sucks!

Well, when he tried the 4-4-2 the players and fans were not happy... now that u play the 4-3-3 u cannot play both of them I should think... although he should at least have been given time as a sub...

I just spit soda all over my computer screen.

Where I grew up, the local Public Broadcasting System was the only channel to show soccer. Once a week, we got 'Soccer Made In Germany'. I really enjoyed watching the good German teams of the mid-70's. Now, all Germany does is play like robots. Really hope Netherlands go through as they play more exciting soccer (like vs Czech Republic - best game I've seen in at least 10 years).
