Ok, it might not have been owerwhelmingly entertaining...but lethargic? We were playing France here fellas! What did you expect, 4-4?. I think int. friendlies this time of season is madness and i don't blame the players for taking it slow, they still have to perform their duties on club level.... And even then, this performance wasn't half bad.....
Bluedaddy How did Heitenga and de Jong do? Sounds like de Jong played fairly well in his limited time. Did he play mid btw? I figure since he came of for Raffie. Sounds like Sneidjer did ok. How about Raffie?

Re: Bluedaddy heitenga - played a very clean, but physical defensive match de jong - yes, he was in MF - a couple of nice runs, a couple of nice interceptions... not much time as you said sneijder - brought the game's only real spark when he came on, was the most intent looking player on the pitch - might have been better to let him take the shorter FK near the end VDV - some nice touches, but didnt have much room out there - makelele was all over him most of the night
