CSUB 3 - Bethesda 1. An expected win against a non-ranked team. What was not expected is my Jérémie's injury after 6 minutes (nasty tackle by behind), whose shoulder is badly damaged. Seems he will off at least four weeks minimum. He will miss at least 8 games…. Last season he played all games and this summer played very well for NPSL Palm Beach United having attracted MLS scouts' attention. Let's hope he can recover quickly for his team as he is one the leaders on and off the pitch.

Weekend: as I live less than an hour from Santa Barbara, I went to the UCSB/St. John's game. Both teams were very very good, Its was a super entertaining back and forth game. St. John's was stopped on a break away that would of tied it late in the game.. UCSB was very Good in the Back and on the Wings. St. John's played great Futbol and were young. also went on Sunday to the UC Riverside/UC Santa Barabara: I felt UCSB was always in control, but a good match when Riverside cut the lead in half.. College soccer was good out west this past weekend..
I had the chance to watch Northern Kentucky v. Canisius on Monday morning (11:00am kickoff). 3-2 win for NKU. The UC v. NIU game ended 0-1 for NIU in 1OT.
You know, You know, my dogs accompanied me to most of the games at Armstrong stadium in the 90's and they were much better behaved than many of the fans. Then the NCAA banned 'em. BRF
