Open tryouts?

we need to light off more smoke bombs thursday than ever!

 

well it is a "well known fact" that the local leagues have dozens if not hundreds of players who are better than anyone on United.

 

I saw three at my son's u-17 match Sunday. And we need to tap the Salvadorean community -- there are great players out there

 

I swear to Christ, you guys...

 

i say ******** open tryouts for players, let's have an open tryout for some new bigsoccer posters--let's get some who's panties don't bunch the first time the going gets a bit rough.

 

I'll try out. Do I get a free t shirt? Do I get two if I puke after windsprints??

Well said JE. They can come on down to Richmond and plunder our Amateur leagues as well. Over 1500 active players in the league I play in alone. Chivas and Toronto both had great results from their open tryouts.

 

Really? Who starts from their open tryouts?

 

Actually Chivas USA discovered Laurent Merlin at the Galaxy open tryout.

 

Good thinking, let's emulate the one team that's performing worse.

Is it just me or should KC have gone out of their way to get that guy?

 

Here's what I don't understand, I try to keep my undies from "bunching" (I could be MORE graphic if additional explanation is needed?), then how do some ladies wear thongs which seems to be the object - "bunching"? Not that I'm objecting, it's just one of those things that make you wonder....

Let me go a little further, isn't it uncomfortable? How did the Brazilian's come up with this idea? Who thought, hmmm bathing suit - underwear, works for me?

Oh, to keep this on topic, I play in a lower division co-ed league, so I'm sure we have a few players that could play for DCU.

I once had a NCSL U19 coach that swore that other than speed, we could beat Team America . At the time, we couldn't beat some U19 opponents...

 

While standing in line to get a cheese burger at a turnpike rest stop the guy in front of me noticed my DCU shirt. He told me he was better than our entire back line put together. I'm gonna find that dude and see if I can't get him signed right away. I will be asking for a large cut of the deal as a finders fee.

 

Are we gonna pick up a new coach at these tryouts? And will there be an opportunity to sign someone as a better Minister of Information for CSN?
