There was a big turnout. Things were organized rather well. Bradley, MoJo, and Nick arrived late. OZ was there on time, it was wierd to see old coach and new coach together, although I did not see them within 50 feet the whole time I was there. Some of the current reserves were there to fill in for teams that didn't have enough players, they did not look too spectacular themselves. They put everyone into teams, yellow and black, warmed them up then gave them 15 minutes to play. There was a few guys sitting at at a table on the side of the field. Then Bradley, Nick, and MoJo were standing together on the side, MoJo had some papers that he would look at everytime he saw something he liked. They were using the new Puma balls, and the Metro Reserves were still wearing the old logos. The new warmups with the new logos looked like they were given out that day to the staff and front office. My buddy Giuseppe was in the first 15 minute game of the day and scored 3 goals in 15 minutes. He said the competition wasn't too spectacular, a lot of older and out of shape guys tried out for some reason. Thats pretty much it... Any questions, just ask...

I think they should do a multi-stage filter - get there favorite third and give them another, more involved tryout, then maybe one or two more stages after that. I think 15 minute small sided matches has poor evaluation accuracy. I think strong players and players with good high-traffic ball skills or good multitasking / quick minds would look best in this scenario.
How do you know this? I mean spending your time either behind your computer or fiddling those two kids from down the block in your basement, where do you find your time?
That is so true. Who knows, there could be the next Chungy out there. Of course, even if he was, he wouldn't ne as good as the original Chungy. Chungy has excellent good multitasking skills, but they are no match to his high-traffic ball skills. I've never met anyone whose high-traffic ball skills are as good as Chungy's.
Players with these characteristics tend to look best in many scenarios, including actual soccer games.
15 minutes is such a small window though but is justfied by the hundreds of participants. My new pictures usually go through at least 3 stages - 1st right at the camera, 2nd is pre-assimilation, 3rd is post assimiliation (where some of the older pictures could get nuked). I am not sure he has any brothers or sisters, but he is married to the lovely and voluptious Jennifer, so it's possible that she has sibilings, who might in turn have boys, which means Chungy will be their uncle. Let's do the math. The average American family averages 2.6 children. Crunching the numbers and making sure we only count boys, it's about 78% chance that Chungy has a nephew. And probably 99% that Chungy's nephew has a friend. Although those odds might be greatly reduced if the nephew spends 85% of his waking hours are in front of a computer or tv or video game.
